I understand -- to a certain extent -- the question about Harry flying to the UK and what this trip could mean as regards the seriousness of king Charles' cancer. But the answer to that question is rather easy : Every week or so, Harry and Meghan Markle are pilloried in the media, and by the media, for all sorts of trivial reasons. Imagine the kind of attacks Harry would have had to face if, upon learning that his father had just been diagnosed with cancer, he had decided to remain in California. The tabloids would have had a field day presenting him as some sort of cold-hearted monster on their front pages. Conclusion: Harry didn't have much of a choice, and his trip to the UK should not be seen -- not now anyway -- as a sign of the aggressiveness of king Charles' cancer.

The cell type is first isolated, treatment for say Non Hodgkins Lymphoma is actually a blood cancer. Colon cancer is hard to detect early. The next step is staging. Stage 1 local tumors, Stage 2 distant tumors across the diaphragm, Stage 3 and stage 4 are critical as to recovery even with treatments. Metastasized patients get palliative care and are kept comfortable in hospice care. Cancer cells reproduce and never die as normal cells do. Small radioactive pellets can be implanted or directed radiation over 4 weeks. Chemo would be every 2 weeks and IV with the hair loss and fatigue over 8 weeks perhaps.

We don't know if the cancer has anything to with the prostate. There was no mention of the prostate it was unrelated.

Well, what can be said for sure is that the cancer was discovered while they were treating an enlarged prostate. But sure, it doesn't necessarily mean it is prostate cancer.

They are saying not and that it was found whilst investigating a benign prostate condition. Wonder if it’s bladder cancer? Whatever it is, I wish him all the best. One things for sure, he’ll receive the best care.
