As an Australian who knows how fond King Charles is of our country I want to say a massive "Thank you" to King Charles and Queen Camilla. The crowds every where the King and Queen went are proof that Aussies very much love and respect the Royal Family and wish King Charles a speedy and complete recovery.

I agree. I thought the King and Queen made a great effort to meet the people whilst they were here in Australia and the people appreciated his majesty’s dedication in attending so many engagements whilst they were in the country. I am a few years younger than them and I don’t think I could’ve done so much in that length of time.

As an Aussie (who was on the fence about our republic debate) I am now firmly back on the Monarchist side. Our grossly inappropriate and selfish bogan senator, and the useless preening of the Markle duo when they came over paled into insignificance in the light of King Charles and Queen Camilla. There is no comparison to a weasel political vote chasing president for a Head of State

No Head of State can ignore the WEF, one of the most powerful groups in the world supported by the majority of the population. The King must understand the structure and initiatives of the WEF but it doesn't mean he represents it or is represented by it. I emigrated from the UK to Australia 40 years ago, and I can tell you that the majority of Australians love the royal family. The king and Queen have done a wonderful job, especially at the age they are, and the Kings health not being the best. King Charles has always had a soft spot for Australia ever since he was a lad and lived here for a while. He was treated as just another one of the lads, which I think he really appreciated.
@sandrasmith246526 күн бұрын
@sandrajune1172 I agree they did really well and big crowds turned out to see them plus the Opera House was lit up with pictures of them which is nice. 😊🐨I am also from the UK 🇬🇧 and have been here 🇦🇺for 25 years now. I flew back home 🇬🇧7 years ago with my 13yo daughter to attend my dad’s/grandads funeral but he passed suddenly on the Tuesday and on the Saturday we boarded the first of 3 flights and it was a nightmare journey with hours to wait at Singapore 🇸🇬 then Dubai then to LHR. Earlier this year me and my adult son and daughter flew to visit my elderly mother/gran via Vancouver 🇨🇦and we spent 12hours there with my Canadian friend. Then another long flight to LHR and my daughter said I hope gran is pleased to see us after we’ve travelled all this way. I then flew back again by myself after mum had her hip surgery to help her via QF/BA so only a 5 hour stopover in Singapore 🇸🇬. It’s about 24 hours to get to/from Australia 🇦🇺 so the King and Queen at their age did well and especially as he is not well and Camilla hates flying. ❤️

As an Aussie all I can say is that the royal tour was a great success. We were so pleased to see that Australia is so special to King Charles that he came out to see us even though he has serious health issues. Or the other one who won't represent the country overseas on state visits because apparently his in-laws and staff can't be trusted to look after the children for a week or so while he is away REPRESENTING THJE COUNTRY on business [but has no problems flying to the US for his own personal business]. The same son who has said he isn't interested in being titular head of the commonwealth and feels it should have nothing to do with the monarchy or the UK [slap in the face to his grandmother and father who have devoted their lives to the commonwealth, an organisation with a list of countries wanting to join when they fulfil the requirements and which is possibly the world's BEST HOPE at present for peaceful; co-operation between countries by assuring mutual benefits while also ensuring they can remain FREE INDEPENDENT SOVEREIGN NATIONS without the worries of invasion by others - with a brief exception involving Grenada that is]. And he stated all of this in an interview when asked about his role in the future of the commonwealth. Makes me wonder if he thinks the same about the other realms he will be king of one day, are we of not interest to the monarchy either, or are the citizens of the UK of interest to him as well given he's willing to take taxpayers money but can't be bothered to do his job of representing them and their country on overseas state visits. He seems to think all he needs to do is concentrate on his own personal choices [and even then with the homeless he only mentions his mother and totally ignores his father's much longer association with this cause and help going back long before his mother was even on the scene. Currently there are only 8 genuinely hard working royal members - King [who hasn't stopped despite a cancer diagnosis and treatment], Queen - who stepped up and covered for him as much as she could instead of staying at home because ''he needed support'', Anne and Timothy Lawrence, Edward and Sophie Edinburgh who travel extensively REPRESENTING THEIR COUNTRY around the world, and Richard and Birgitte Gloucester who also do a huge amount of work for the country and monarchy. - with William coming in well at the end [Catherine had an excuse so not involving her in this] with a work ethic that doesn't speak well for the future [better than his younger brother but that isn't exactly a high level to surpass]. If you are born into a position of such responsibility - for which you are very well paid financially - where the COUNTRY AND PEOPLE come first [in the contract] then the least you can do is fulfil your responsibilities.

Thank you to the King and Queen for undertaking these arduous tours considering that the King is sufferinng from cancer and having to halt his treatment. A job throughly well done and very much appreciated.

It was wonderful. BUT I hope it won't be squandered by allowing those two back in the fold. That's a deal breaker.

Definitely not. So proud of the Australian people saying such kind words about them. ❤❤❤

Neil, I am very pleased with the success of the tour. I was rooting for the trip to be a success. King Charles has always been my favorite Royal and I am super proud of what he is doing. My prayer now is that he should take a rest so that his body gets to heal. I thank God for the Queen who is giving the King all the support and love. Australia and Samoa you have done the Commonwealth proud. Keep up the spirit. Love from Zambia 🇿🇲

Very welcome down here, our true Royalty. First encounter was in 1954, the late Queen came down to Tasmania. Have seen all visits when their schedules included our southern state.. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️👋👋👋 🇦🇺

The trip was a roaring success and I loved the pics - I watched several channels none being British MSM to see how wonderful well it went and how joyous the King and Queen were in doing what they do best.

The King and Queen are absolutely lovely! How wonderful that they made this trip possible, despite King Charles having ongoing health treatments. I hope that they had as much fun as they appeared to have. They deserve all the happiness in the world. May God Bless them both❤❤ God Save The King.

Thank you King Charles for coming to Australia. It meant a lot to all of us here that you acknowledged our relationship. Not just to the monarchy, but more personally to our King. I lived in regional Western Australia and the Royal visits (Princess Anne, Queen Elizabeth and King Charles) did make us feel included in the commonwealth. I feel honoured that he should take the time, during his treatment, to once again acknowledge and include us. Thankyou your Majesty.
