Had she died in London, we Scots would never have had the opportunity to say goodbye the way we did. Showing the beauty of Scotland to the whole world as our little Queen travelled from Balmoral to Edinburgh brought me to tears. It is no wonder she felt so at home there, she could walk in the countryside and no one would ever think of bothering her, particularly the locals who were fiercely protective of her. A beautiful soul who took her last breath in a beautiful place.

I always said that Charles, if he hadn't been born royal, could have got a job doing voice overs/ narration. He has the most amazing voice. And Pearl, this Brit loves the Southern US accent! Dunfermline my birthplace ♥️ I’ve always felt proud of Dunfermline and it’s history, Dunfermline Glen was donated to the people of Dunfermline by Andrew Carnegie, who was also born in Dunfermline in a little Cottage just outside the side gates of the Glen, it was a private Glen and he was not permitted to play in it as a child, so after his family emigrated to America and he grew up and became rich he bought the Glen for all the children to play in. Also Dunfermline has the Carnegie Library, Swimming pool, Theatre, a children’s school gala is held every year for the children of Dunfermline
