Who are these people who put a thumbs down for the great King Curtis and his very talented band? Obviously, they don't know good music at all! These people should listen to his whole catalog of music. They would be surprised how multi-talented these guys were! Great music will always stand the test of time as has this album and King Curtis!

This record is 1000% ear candy, every note, every nuance, every tempo. Curtis is jumping for joy in his music as all the cats on this date. Joy Sunday go to meetin' kind of joy, all day church.

This is is just what the doctor ordered for me. Thanks, Curtis rest in peace. You have created love and much soul saving music for all of us. I am loving each session with you at 87.

The best damn blues CD, back in the 90s I used to rock this on 2 Olympus woofers from radioshack while friends of mine smoked up to nirvana unplugged trying to learn the chords to creep at the same time. God

Curtis is the ultimate feel good player. Everyone feels so good on this record, I am smiling from ear to ear! Absolute genius not even mentioned in today's times. He is Blues/R&B 101 in my book.

Adoro King Curtis da quando avevo 18 anni. Odio il bastardo che l'ha ucciso. Quanto altro avremmo potuto sentire ...È stato sfortunato. KC. è per pochi eletti: non ha avuto il giusto clamore. Così Egli è speciale ! Luisa Lemma

King Curtis Ousley and Eddie Cleanhead Vinson are some of the great sensible and melodic jazz artists I admire and aspire to be like them and they are not being given much airplay on the radio. South African jazz music collector.

Eddie “Cleanhead” Vinson had much in common with King Curtis . Both belting the jazzy blues and playing the alto extremely well. This, i find, is KC’s best album. Great singin’ and playin’ that alto on those swingin’ funky, greasy and soulful blues. Great stuff, G’day & Cheers!
