Me too, but I also really liked Them allot. Saw both Mercyful Fate and Kind Diamond live for the first time back in the 80's at The Stone. They put on great shows.

Thanks dude. I've been a Kind Diamond fan since the 80's. It depends what sound/tone I'm going for and how it will sit in the mix. I own a couple of Mesa's (Badlander 100 and a 50 cal+) and the 50 has served me very still since the late 80's/early 90's. However, I modded the Badlander and it sounds incredible, so unless I'm running them in stereo I tend to gravitate to the Badlander. The Badlander now has a similar tone found on the new Judas Priest album. I also use a Quad Cortex and other amp modeling to achieve the tone I'm seeking. The nice thing about modeling is the versatility it provides while providing killer tones not to mention it's much smaller from factor. I'm a bit of a tone-whore and love to tinker. Thanks dude. The guitar is a Jackson Soloist custom shop build. You guessed it, the inlays on this guitar are abalone.
