100% reminds me of me the 1st time I saw King Diamond in his 89/90 ´Conspiracy ` tour ( best Metal concert I´ve ever attended , Candlemass failed to open for some reason ) ... in your teens that is akin to magic when you´re as obsessed by Mercyful / Fate King Diamond as I was ( and as this kid is too ) ... I don´t know how they let 13/14 year old kids attend gigs like they were in those days but , let me tell you , 1st time I saw Motorhead with Destruction and Girlschool opening in 88 , something in me changed forever , like a possession, I reckon some dude like Darkthrone´s Fenriz understands me perfectly ...

Great show. The King et al sound awesome as usual. I'm gonna be that guy now and point out how sad it makes me to see the entire crowd turned into human tripods with a couple head nods and devil horns thrown in here and there. If that's how you enjoy the show, fine. But to me, something significant has been lost. A metal show is supposed to include some banging around for God's sake.

@oleedgibbon80075 жыл бұрын
@@CostasAn I saw King Diamond in St. Louis in 2007 and the crowd was going nuts. I lost my shoe in the pit somehow and didn't even notice. It was awesome. I couldn't move my neck the next day from all the headbanging. This just doesn't look like as much fun to me. Is this a Dave Matthews concert or King Diamond? Oh well. Guess I can always go see Gojira and get some bruises there. Either way, long live the King!

That's WHY I DON'T GO ANYMORE ROCK/METAL CONCERTS! NO ONE "gets in the music!" What IS WORSE than being at rock/metal concert and being in the midst of a "dead crowd?" In my opinion, maybe the ones who "DON'T get in the music," DON'T TAKE MUSIC PERSONALLY. In my opinion, they just look at music as "mere entertainment."
