King Frederik and Queen Mary of Denmark’s fairytale rise to power

It usually only happens in fairytales- the humble small town girl meets a handsome prince, they fall in love and live happily ever after.
But for Queen Mary and King Fredrick of Denmark, it was very real.
From meeting in Sydney during the Olympic Games to getting married, having children and now ascending the throne to become king and queen, Mary and Frederick have been through it all and are going into their next chapter stronger than ever.

Mary is wonderful. Though the other day, watching Princess Isabella on the balcony: wow, did she remind me of Frederik's grand cousin in Sweden. Swedens next in line. Isabella showed so much selfconfidence, just like Victoria. And she looks very much like her too. So if Crown Prince Christian is not up to the task, Denmark would have a splendid next female monarch after Queen Margrethe. I wish you luck, Christian. Keep in mind that your father got a little too wild in his youth and many were beginning to suggest that your uncle should become the monarch after Queen Margrethe

U are mixing up regent and monarch, Margrethe was monarch because she was the oldest child... Regent and monarch is not the same... the King is the monarch. Which is why Henri could´t be king, but only be prince... And by law Margrethe was king of Denmark, but since she is a woman called a queen. Look exactly at 0.40 - why does Mary clearly kiss Frederik OVER his lips and NOT ON his lips?! Does she not want to kiss him in reality?! Just a question, because this is sooo unnatural for a happy woman to kiss that way, but it is very natural, that she avoided kissing him direct on his mouth, IF the story about the female Casanova in Madrid is true!
