I feel such a strong connection with this song. With all the stresses and strains that sort of just come with work and everyday life, this song and live video just really helps to ease the soul...............Long live the most exciting and creative band of our times. All hail KIng Gizzard and lizard wizard 🙌🏼

Sounds great and looks great, what a great hot room of friends. Lucas hopping around, Eric so young watching it all while playing, guys zoning in the groove, Joey on floor on Sitar, Amby at stage right. All the boys look up 6:18 when go-go-dancer leaps out to crowd surf. 2013!

Joey was playing keyboard on this like he also did when playing 30 Past 7 and Let Me Mend The Past

Oh since Joey pops up at the end, I assumed he was on the floor, and there seems to be a sitar sound. Do you have knowledge about that show? Or from the album liner notes? Looks wonderful@@kinggizzlivearchive

They play this older song live in their more recent live shows, but i prefer the more studio sounding version of this one. The jammy stuff is good, but 2013 -2017 gizz is something else
@TheNucaKola7 ай бұрын
Yeah I’ve been a fan long enough to have a preference for their earlier work up until 2017. There new stuff is great, but all their stuff 2017 and earlier was a vibe all onto its own

Joey may be sitting on the stage floor, playing the Sitar, which is microtonal. He stands up at the end, and Ambrose might be at stage right the whole time.

no. they just bend the strings. and the music is very reminiscent of Indian music, which is usually micro tonal.
