I bought my ticket last second on resale and it ended up being such a cool experience. I would have much rather seen Gizz full force in Detroit, but this was a brand new venue to me and the setting on the water was magical. This was the perfect song to open with.

This was absolutely the highlight of the night for me. I couldn't go unfortunately, but I watched the stream in full and it was amazing. Motor Spirit was already referenced in both studio versions of Theia, the bassline is Motor Spirit's opening riff a whole step down, and the extended mix of course lyrically references it. Aside from that, they referenced The River, Wah Wah and The Silver Cord in this performance of Theia. Sucks that you didn't watch the whole thing. Honestly I think this version of Theia is a lot more interesting than their synth table performances of it, which to me are just kind of boring compared to the extended studio version.
