I needed this especially today as i am trying to observe Sabbath as best as i can. While staying away from secular, worldly things , i was yearning for something Godly, and so God sent Titus! Thank you, HeavenlyFather! We've all known teachers who use different translations, but they could speak and teach Greek and so on and were much better qualified to sift through these thing. I'm no scholar, so I stick with King James where it seems to me that the Holy Spirit always approves! Never once has He ever admonished me to get away from King James and onto another version, and as I read King James, I depend on the Holy Spirit to give me the understanding He wants me to have at that time.

The Best preachers can touch the hearts of both young And old. Years ago, my grandparents had a church called Hines Chapel church of Christ in southern Ohio. Back then, they had traveling preachers that came from all lot of different states to preach there, then came to their house to eat after. My husband and I could not agree more how important the KJV is. During our lifetime we have seen so many different translations of the Holy Scriptures come into vogue and then pass on to the back of the closet in favor of the new shiny latest version. Along with the "Good News" version and the "message" version and every other shortlived version came the lack of the importance of scripture memorization . As children we enjoyed sword drills and certificates won for the most scripture memorized. But as it is today it is difficult to even follow along in the scriptures when everyone is reading from a different version., . We enjoyed your lesson in which you compared the meaning of each version with the KJV. Invaluable!! Keep up the good work, Titus! Need more studies like this. Always get so blessed by your devotions and by your teachings of Gods Word. special prayers for you and and your helpers like Donavan and Bill and Aaron and your sweet parents as well as your talented videographer, Stephanie and those precious children. Hope to be able to see them back on camera soon. Looking forward to Jesus Coming ❤

Refrain: I have such a Savior-have you? Is my Savior your Savior, too? Has He entered the door, to depart nevermore? Is my Savior your Savior, too? 2 A Helper have I in whom I can confide, In dangers and trials He’s close by my side, And keeps me so sweetly tho’ tempted and tried, I have such a Helper-have you? Refrain: I have such a Savior-have you? Is my Savior your Savior, too? Has He entered the door, to depart nevermore? Is my Savior your Savior, too? 3 I have a great Shepherd who loveth His sheep, Who calls them by name, and in safety doth keep; They feed in green pastures by still waters deep, I have such a Shepherd-have you? Refrain: I have such a Savior-have you? Is my Savior your Savior, too? Has He entered the door, to depart nevermore? Is my Savior your Savior, too? 4 I’ve found a great Shelter from life’s wintry blast, In storm and in tempest He holdeth me fast; My hope as an anchor on Jesus I’ve cast, I have such a Shelter-have you? Refrain: I have such a Savior-have you? Is my Savior your Savior, too? Has He entered the door, to depart nevermore? Is my Savior your Savior, too? Great Revival Hymns No. 2

Well to be very specific the original verse is " שִׁחֶתְךָ יִשְׂרָאֵל כִּי־בִי בְעֶזְרֶךָ׃" read from left to right. And the word "שִׁחֶתְךָ" dose not say "thou hast destroyed thyself" but simply "to destroy, corrupt, go to ruin, decay". So from left to right שִׁחֶתְךָ (to destroy, corrupt, go to ruin, decay) יִשְׂרָאֵל (Israel ) כִּי־בִי (that, for, because, when, as though, as, because that, but, then, certainly, except, surely, since also included in this is a second word בִי which means "in me" is it a 2 part word) בְעֶזְרֶךָ׃ (help or one who helps). So even KJV is not perfectly pure accuracy. But NIV, ESV, NKJV and KJV all pretty much try to deliver the original message. In general if we really want to dig deep we must go to the original manuscripts. No need to claim KJV superiority. Only seek God with all your mind all your heart and all your spirit. KJV, ESV, or NIV, each one can help someone know God and by asking God to help reveal himself through either version one can better know God.

@@Quintusflacyes but you have to understand, we don’t know you or anything about you. We don’t know how well you actually know Hebrew, but it is important to note that 1) just by comparing what you wrote to the interlinear Bible on BLB, we see that while you said שִׁחֶתְךָ simply means “to destroy, corrupt, go to ruin, decay”, that is not true: שָׁחַת simply means “to destroy, corrupt, go to ruin, decay.” שִׁחֶתְךָ on the other hand has a resh at the end of it, meaning it is in the Pronominal 2nd Person Masculine Singular. Now I don’t know Hebrew, so I don’t know what any of that means. Maybe you know what that means, maybe you don’t. We just don’t know whether you know or you don’t, cause we don’t know you. But that brings me to number 2) when we examine these English translations of the Tanakh: Tanakh: The Holy Scriptures, published by JPS, The Holy Scriptures: A New Translation (JPS 1917), and The Koren Jerusalem Bible, not one of them agrees with your translation. Maybe you really are a native Hebrew speaker but if you’re not it definitely comes across as arrogant for you and the modern Bible translators to insinuate that you understand Hebrew better than Jewish people. That’s the reason why we don’t believe you.
@Quintusflac8 ай бұрын
@@jacobemmanuel4772 My whole point is to say that trying to hold KJV in superiority over ESV or NIV is just simply not helpful. Because nobody know the original manuscripts and if they did KJV would not be as perfect as they once thought. That being said the KJV and the ESV and the NIV all do a very good job getting the truth of the meaning across. And the Semantic misunderstandings from KJV or NIV is not a reason to pridefully lift up KJV as some how superior. It is a matter of opinion but not some kind of fact. And to answer you a bit deeper on Hebrew: The term "שִׁחֶתְךָ" in Hebrew translates to "your corruption" or "your destruction" in English. It is derived from the root "שחת" which means "to corrupt" or "to destroy," and the suffix "ךָ" indicates possession, making it "your" in singular masculine form. So, the full meaning would be something like "your corruption" or "your destruction," depending on the context in which the word appears. Which is still not the same as what the KJV says. But it gets the point across in truth. Just the same as ESV or NIV. It seems like there are more discussion of the semantic misunderstandings than God's word here. And I am not sure that is very helpful to people. Maybe better to pick a version of the bible and preach the truth rather than try to put other down for reading ESV or NIV. In this case on this verse NIV is the most accurate word for word translation for Hosea 13:9. But it dose not really mater to the degree that one reading one or the other version in faith and prayer could not know God in truth. Take care and God bless.

Love you all brothers and sisters, but the notion that KJV is the only real word of God is simply not accurate. Comparing a translation of man against another translation of man is lacking understanding and discernment. If you want to compare it, compare it to the original writing itself. And against that original text all others will be slightly different, including KJV. However a more important understanding is that the only word of God is THE WORD, that is Jesus Christ who was the Word from the beginning. He is what makes scripture, Scripture, and not just text. It is God, by His Holy Spirit, who teaches us, in truth, as we seek in earnestness His righteousness and kingdom. Do we think God, who has called us, will then allow us to be deceived by the translations of man? Of course not! It is not text on a page which has been translated and transliterated, which saves us and transforms us, it is Jesus Christ! He is THE WAY, THE TRUTH, and THE LIFE! This is what makes His Word, the LIVING WORD. So, let's remember to use scripture to uphold scripture, especially when we sees what look like discrepancies. If you read the rest of the chapter or book, or other books like Psalms, there is no mistaking what God is saying even if some translations seem off with certain verses. But most important is to seek the Lord and let Him teach us because we don't come to understanding on our own, no matter what version we use, but we gain understanding because the Holy Spirit has opened our eyes to His truth. And when we truly seek Him, He will not lead us into deception.

I liked this message of hope and faith. It was powerful. Titus seems to understand a lot about trusting. About having assurance through trials and persecutions. Sometimes the Bible does sound depressing, but he found the light and hope in the Word. I think all the translations are somewhat twisted in their own way. The English versions leave out the feminine aspects of God, the spirits are feminine in Hebrew for instance, including the Holy Spirit. If you could read Hebrew, you would see a lot of depth of the translation has been lost even in King James.

@@Quintusflac I would respectfully disagree. While the KJV may have some issues.... It IS the closest to the original manuscripts that we have. Titus only touched on a couple of passages, but there are many, many passages where the context is completely changed, by things as simple as the omission of just one word, or the addition of others. While I would never consider the NWT an actual translation, (it is an interpretation designed to support another agenda) it gives us the example in John 1:1 where the entire context is changed by changing one word! There are countless examples in all the translations, but to remain true to the original manuscripts, KJV is ones safest option.

Hi Titus, One thing to keep in mind, what you are seeing is the challenge whenever translating from one language to another on top of one time period as compared with another time period and how words are defined, and at times, redefined. To assert that the satan is conjuring up these various translations apart from the KJV can also be construed as an act of the satan given your logic stream. What I recommend, if you will, to be more sure is to learn ancient Hebrew and Greek languages, cultures, intent of the writers, different audiences of the writers for contextual analysis and understanding. This would give you a more firm foundation necessary to make the assertions you wish to when comparing KJV with other translations while asserting the satan is skewing the other translations. One way to begin this journey, speaking from personal experience, is to begin with Jesus being a Jewish rabbi. That He came to the Jews first and then to the Gentiles. That should help you set the foundations for the steps that follow. May the LORD continue to bless and grow you in His favor and knowledge of the Master Yeshua!

I'm very gratful that they are a few more that understand just how important it is to stay with Gods word, The KJV. You'll never find rapture written anywhere in it, only about the second coming of our Lord. They are so many that would attempt to change Gods word, or try to alter the thing that has gone out of his mouth. Gods words word is true. Love and prayers In Jesus name.

The Greek word harpazo is in the NT as it was written in Greek. This word implies rapture, to be caught away, taken up. This is the coming of Yeshua in the clouds as spoken in Thessalonians. A separate event than the 2nd coming. If you study the scriptures in the original languages they were written in, more things would make sense to us here in the west.

Hi Titus, I appreciate how much you appreciate the Lord. U've reminded me the importance of kneeling or standing when praying, because that's how I started but somehow I stopped. It does make a difference, thank you. Now about the subject at hand I would say it's quite a sensitive one and we need to handle it with caution guided by the Holy Spirit. Personally the Holy Spirit guides me on which version to read for each given case. I'm not going to speculate on which version is holier than others but I would like to call your attention to these scriptures if you don't mind: Psalm 34:19 - Many are the afflictions of the righteous:but the Lord delivereth him out of them all. Psalm 91:15b I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him and honour him. Matthew 6:13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. The following 2 verses are for comparison: KJV Luke 10:19 behold I give unto you power... in AMP Luke 10:19 Behold I have given you authority and power... My conclusion is: let's let the Holy Spirit do His job on guiding us, however He pleases and not build fixed ideas. In that way we will be limiting Him His job and pleasure of opening our spirits to new revelations. I love what you doing and may God keep on blessing and expanding your ministry for His glory. When I watch you, I feel so much peace and I can sense your genuineness.

Thank you Titus! I have learned that we don't rely on any interpretation because it is man who has interpreted these recordings, there is not a interpretation that is infallible. We have to rely on Jesus Christ who sends us another helper, the Holy Spirit to guide us and give us Gods revelation. Have the faith of Abraham, Abraham did not have scripture or a Bible. God did not promise to send us a Bible, He promised His spirit. Pray to Jesus for everything.

KJV is the preserved word of God in English, other versions allow sin into the church and take away from the FULLNESS of the Gospel! God bless y'all from Kansas 🙏❤️✝️

What I like about ESV is that it references a lot of nuances from other popular translations. It has been super useful to me. For example, on this 2 Peter 2:9 it says Trials but in footnotes it also shows that the translated word might be temptations too.

Wow! I'm astonished that I could sit through this Bible study. I've studied all major religions for 40 yrs.! I was bounced through several religions when I was younger. Baptist. Protestant Baptist. Mormon. Reorganized Church of the Latter Day Saints. It was in the beginning of the 80's a great rift happened within the R.L.D.S. because of the division of letting Women preach! I left all of them to find my own way. I don't regret that. My memory of sitting with His Holiness, The Dali Lama helped greatly. I was told, "If any of these words ring true in your heart, keep them. If they do not, let them blow away in the wind." Over all that is the approach I've taken with all religious texts. So much study has turned me away from obtaining a degree in Theology. Such a degree demands some kind of division. I do not believe that GOD can be contained within just one. I do not believe that people can totally comprehend, GOD. We are lucky to be equal to an Ant that toils on the soil of this Erthe. (I know, the accepted spelling is Earth. I choose to use language more ancient. I study history back to The Sumerian ages.) This has led to the inability to Bible Study with others. It is not as simple as black and white for me. I have no desire to preach to others with an ego structure. I have no desire to argue with the beliefs of others IF it is for the good of most. I absolutely refuse to put God into any sexual form. Male or Female. I've learned to overlook the "HE" part because it is a doctrine that has been ingrained deeply for many ages. Through this Bible study, I was able to understand the point that Mr. Titus was making. I did not feel uncomfortable or like I needed to question a lot. In Mr. Titus's first interview with Peter Santenello, there was the realization that Titus will often express ideas and beliefs that are contained in Buddhism. Which has been one of the hardest of all religious beliefs for myself to grasp. The non-duality. The letting go. Making peace in every step you take requires a mental discipline of being mindful that is difficult. I feel like there is a bit of preaching happening. Yikes! I will end with stating that hard feelings never did anyone much good. That we all are born with a breath in and die with a breath out. Make the most of the ones that are in between them. Praise, Christ. Give glory to GOD and ALL MOTHERS 🙏 Well, there's that 😅 Enough of electronics, the internet and religion for today!!

Liking your channel. And also liking your fellowship and Christian love that each of you have for one another. In this wicked day and times in which we find ourselves it is good to listen to you witness. In todays times we are bearing witness to the "great falling away" from The Truth. This is the "Apostasy" of the "church" in the last days. The world now is calling that which is good...bad. And vice versa. That is wickedness. Thank goodness for His faithful remnant, even in this present dark age, he keeps us. Protected from the devil and his angels by a hedgerow of protection, round about. I, also, believe that the 1611 KJV Bible is the True Word of God. I believe it is the Truth, and the inspired and preserved Word of the living God. I believe every single word of it is True. And thank our Heavenly Father for it. And for the fact that He and His Word is the same, yesterday, today, and forevermore. Thank you, sir, for this ministry. I pray our Heavenly Father God to continue to lead, guide, and bless you and yours concerning this ministry. May He bless you and keep y'all safe from all harm, and evil. Keep on keeping on for Jesus. See ya on the next. Big shoutout from this old, longhaired, Southern boy in the mountains of East Tennessee. (Gatlinburg, Tennessee.) Wishing you guys much peace, love, and happiness. Go with God. Later, dude.

The churches fell away and they are 100% demon possessed now. I was shown it over 40 years ago. They are so possessed I don't see how people are not seeing it now. A child was just shot in Joel Osteen's megachurch. A child SHOULD NEVER be shot in a church EVER!!!!!! I believe the child that was shot was a sacrifice. God showed me my church was totally demon posssessed and that is what I saw happening in my ex church, the demons were killing the children. I call it child sacrificing. It is Baal worship and Baal worship has returned.
