Jan 14 2024 I was led by the spirit in my soul with inspiration to hear this song that my Bishop John Canada use to sing in his Buffalo, NY church in the 70s/80s. Services are canceled today in Buffalo, NY due to blizzard and extremely high winds. So to avoid the discouragement of not being able to go to church today, the Lord led me to hear and play this song over and over again. This is the 3rd version I’ve listened to thus far and the rendition I’ve played since 3:48 AM. I usually pull out my guitar and play before the Lord in the wee hours between late night Saturday/Sunday, but I must have need to be ministered unto this day. May God forever Bless You my Sanctified Sister..☦️⛪️☦️

Thank you so much for this song. It's one of my favorites. My father sang this when I was a young girl. I love it even more today because I can sing it in truth for myself. A lot of older songs are some of the greatest.

One of the first songs I was taught to play on the piano by my Mom. This was her song and I loved to hear her play it on the piano. My parents left such a rich musical legacy in our lives.

I learned this awesime spiritual/ inspirational classic in church at 5 years. I love this beautiful song to this day. I am 62 yes old, a Pastor and organist form the Alex Bradford, James Cleveland, Alfred Bolden days when gospel was truly a pleasure and an inspiration.
