Mansoor has a soft heart like mine. Over here crying with him.

I recall watching the original as a kid in the 1970s. I was so heartbroken for King Kong; I still feel the pain when I watch this. He didn't ask for this.

The 70's film wasn't the original, it was a remake of the 30's film.

Me too, but now I recall Mr Burns on the Simpsons in a similar end scene saying "Monkey burgers for the troops"... I think Homer saw the body and said, "...just because he was different".

@@stanmann356 Yes, I was referring to the original from the 30s, I didnt really like the one from the 70s.

@ Yeah, I didn't really like it either. Luckily it kind of disappeared. Never really saw it again on cable or DVD.

@ The 30's one is on YT. The 70's one has a few clips there too.

Sweet. btw, I don't like reactions to horror or comic book movies. I know they are "popular" but they kind of suck. You guys keep doing what you do though, I appreciate the reactions and insights.

This movie is about the exploitation of the natural world by mankind, for profit & entertainment. We can never grasp the beauty & nobility of nature, until after we uproot & destroy it. 😓 Kong was never a monster, he was just an animal. Even wild animals have emotions, & their existence should be respected.

I THINK THEY WOULD ENJOY WATCHING THE MOVIE ICE AGE

It seems logical to now watch the 1933 original. There are some great classic films from the 1930s and 40s!

You guys should totally react to the original King Kong. It’s about as racist as any other movie at the time, but it’s a part of history.

I know that you have to chop up these movies to avoid strikes against the channel, but holy moly this one is bad.

Now is the time , Kong : Skull Island . They will love this one as it has Samuel Jackson and Tom Hiddleston who played Loki in Thor.
