If this game is remade, Jack Driscoll should be played in third person perspective and his gameplay should be similar to Lara Croft from tomb raider and Nathan Drake from uncharted

I remembered when I first played the demo of the game it scared me so bad that when the V-rex was breaking through the pillars I hid behind a wall and didn’t even look out or move, I just looked into the wall and huddled in the center of it. I was in pure terror, and I was both terrified and relived that its attention was focused on Carl and Hayes, and the fact it didn’t see me as well, but when it started to attack Carl and Hayes and the crunching sounds were heard, and seeing the saurian eat them whole on the screen, gave me chills. Then realizing I have to get its attention...shit had me weak, moral - 0, I legit had to stop and take a break, true existential dread kicked in when I realized I had to get its attention and try and survive being eaten. I always dreaded encountering the V-rex as jack, absolutely terrifying. Also I was scared shit less when I was running around pillars avoiding it on another level then the v-rex just used its head like a sledge hammer and destroyed my cover! There hasn’t yet been a dinosaur game like Peter Jackson’s King Kong official game of the movie that has sacred or terrified me like the v-rex or raptors in this game, also the immersion was fantastic. This game needs a remaster ASAP, getting peter Jackson attention about wanting a remaster or remake of this game possibly could make it a reality, maybe.

I’m really happy I’m not the only one who grew up on this game but also is the best Video game movie to date. I definitely struggled on the V-Rex missions as a kid. Replaying now as an adult I never felt so much nostalgia in my life lol. This game is definitely underrated! Would love to see it remastered! Wish it was playable on the newer consoles! 10/10!

This was the scariest game I'd ever played when i was a kid. this level literally made me piss myself as a child. I'm still scared of it :( I wish as many games put this much emphasis on REAL fear and being helpless. Like you cant run and that makes it worse your dude just strolls along.

On the PS2 one, he really does. When the Rex grabs the dude on the bridge, you can do the weapon swap thing with Jimmy as his character model falls off the bridge into the crevice below. He's not carrying a weapon, but Jack says, "Jimmy, are you okay" as he falls to his death. The PS2 version had some funny ass glitches and stuff in it.
