Yes, I got the Mariners score wrong...because apparently I can't read my own notes at 8am. 🙄 I watched the game and still messed it up. Oh well. It won't be the last time, but I hate it. It was 2-1.

Thanks for the Michael King mention. As a Padres fan, always interested in perspectives on Padres players And I wonder what motivated Mason Miller to throw an off speed pitch to Jackson Merrill, I wonder if the A's saw something in an earlier at bat that suggested Merrill could be hunting heaters?

Great question. He looked really good in one of his starts and then went back to meh. It's tough to come from those injuries but usually it eventually seems to happen (not all the time). It takes time to sync back up mechanically, as well as takes time to get over the thought of injuring yourself again (not to mention the impact of any scar tissue). I think by the end of the season he should be back more to normal. But really nothing is certain.

Don't get it twisted, Juan Soto is fucking incredible. That being said Kinger is also pretty nasty and I pray the Yankees somehow get him back.

@PitchingNinjaVideos not "the problem." It's the gift. If you felt like whatever 57 should "feel like" (I googled you today after a year or 2 of watching your content); then you wouldn't be making badass pitching content for a digital medium- while having an appeal to younger viewers as well. I'm 44 and I guarantee that there are, at least thousands of people 20-30 years younger than I am, that think you're just as cool as you are informative
