For newbies this is just a hobby unless you have lots of $ to spend and nothing else to do. Kudos to those who have made a successful business out of coin collecting.

@Madden-Frangrance-Champ where did he say it couldn't? Negative?
@shastina54937 ай бұрын
Not true! Yes, it is a hobby but one does not have to have $ to spend to do the hobby! You can check out your pocket change and coin roll hunt with house money you can put right back into your budget minus whatever you keep out. It does take dedication and the knowledge skill set to do a buisness with some $ like all buisneesses require at start up. If your in it just for money, then your in the wrong hobby! My opinion anyway!

The 1995 I just blogged about has zinc rot. I have it sealed, and it's not worth much, but decided to write about it anyway. It has more sentimental value than anything because a fellow collector gave it to me.

I'm a proud owner of the Matte Proof 1909 V.D.B. I was very surprised to see that the featured 1909 VDDR sold for $82! It was a pretty nice specimen though. Definitely not a mint state or an UNC but nice shape. I'd be happy to find any 1909 in that shape. I have two nice 1909 VDB's one is the one mentioned earlier a proof 66 the other is an AU 58.

Hi Sean. I sold a 1978S on ebay. It sold for an offer of $150.00. Could you maybe mention it on your weekly report. I'd be thrilled for it to be mentioned. It is a gorgeous coin. The buyer got an absolutely beautiful coin. It was not graded. Thanks, Danea.

Shaun, very excited, I found in my pocket change, a missing clad layer on a 1999 Pennsylvania Statehood quarter. What's most interesting is that it's missing the clad layer on both sides of the coin. It looks AU to maybe MS grade. My main question is should I list it on eBay or send it in for grading? Your help here will be most appreciated.

Hey Shaun, you often mention the West And East coast a lot when referring to where the coins can usually be found, because of how the Mint ships them. How does that fair or impact Us in the Central States…ND, MN, NB, MO and KS ?
@MarkedMoneyTech7 ай бұрын
I'm in Illinois and find both D and P mint errors and varieties.
@jbrown0127657 ай бұрын
I believe that he is referring to the East & West of the Mississippi River is the Boundary Line for each Mint to be shipped to…That’s just me from listening to Blue for years now. I may be wrong but that’s what I have gathered from listening to him.

@calebnieken17457 ай бұрын
Weigh the coin. A Lincoln copper penny should weigh around 3.1 grams. If your nickel weighs right around that, you have a valuable coin.

The 1887 Indian Head Penny Also has something that was Overlooked ….The collar is different from half to half…It’s Half ribbed and half clean and smooth. And that 2022 cent with the extra V…is a little fishy…that extra V looks like it was added and Not part of the printing (compared to the other’s found )

This coin collecting should only be what you want to keep. If a person wants to sell coins then every one should just them at face value because no one wants to buy them. Major coin shops don't eve want to screw around helping a person to even get coins graded. And they only want to deal with coins over 2500 .00 bucks. Instead of telling people what coins or currency are worth you should be explaining in "DETAIL" from A-Z how to get them graded. This is why i say collect for your self and don't listen to all these coin collecting video's.
@nikkanderson19857 ай бұрын
Yeah bro he does tell you that, and he helps you get them graded or tells you if you should grade it. He has a whole team. I should just let him respond to this. But you're sounding mad for all the wrong reasons. That's why we cherry-pick coin shops. They only pay weight value unless it's ultra rare. And search the videos that only talk about grading and how to. Stay off this one. It's positive, and he is super cool and helpful, honest, and knows what he is talking about.
@NicoleGizzy797 ай бұрын
