Luna has always had an amazing voice but she was always pushed to the back and forgotten because people thought she was fat, ugly, a waste. SiimplyGawgeouz1 let's not stretch that too far. Not long after debut, Luna sang in front of veteran singer Insooni who commented she didn't know how to sing. Luna is good but it's more like she has come a long way. She debuted when she was 17 and her voice has been straining and on the weaker side of SM's vocal line until she reaches her 20s. Luna improved greatly from her days of Immortal Song. One of the panel made a comment in this performance "a good singer deliver the song's emotion to the listener, not being drowned in it" and praised her a great singer. I don't know if he knows who she is and is directing but in Luna's days of Immortal Song, she was good at singing but she was always drowning in her own emotion. Her performance was always too much and she won once with a dance performance which was actually what she is initially good at. I don't blame SM for not getting much recognition for Luna. She and Amber as well are both overshadowed by the amazing visual line of f(x). Them trio are like top-notch in the idol world imo. But SM gave Luna that voice and they pushed her onto the stage now because they know she is ready for it. She is guaranteed a long term singing career definitely.

It's a complex of her that she herself tells about in an interview after she lost in this program. I do think it helped a lot when she performed in IS2 and now this and her musicals...

Can't wait to see the reaction when Luna takes off her mask. She has always been a brilliant singer since i saw her on immortal song, a brilliant performer who always gives her best,and not to mention this girl got into SM for her dancing skills alone. This girl has such a genuine kind personality and just exudes kindness, positivity and humbleness and has never changed since the start. There is really nothing not to love about her and i just feel so disappointed when people put her down for her looks ( i. really. dont. understand.) While f(x) as a group have had some problems recently, i am so so so happy that the underrated members are finally getting their chance to shine and prove themselves. I really hope Luna finally gets her well deserved recognition and shut all those who think she wasn't good enough.

I don't agree with many saying that sm is not good with fx. I think each member got many chances to do in different area. Vic in TV shows, Krystal in TV, fashion. Luna got a lot of chances to perform in musicals. This is especially important experience for her since she already has good voice. Doing musicals improved her so much, listen to her singing in mask king you can tell she is very mature in skill and high note. I think choosing to sing in drama or musical is one thing Luna really likes. She devoted herself and learned a lot. I personally think she is one of the persons in SM who really wants to improve singing.

Singers who join this show won't directly show people how they usually sing!They'll put a twist on it in some ways. @ 2:52 the transition was definitely like she does normally. It's at the part she sang, "himdeul tago uljima---" Can't still hear it? at the word 'uljima'. The transition started before 'JI' of the word 'ulJIma'. I know this isn't just the only part that showed a sign it's Luna. But aside from the overall performance, that part really reminded me that it's her! You can correct me! Came back here after the late Sulli's passing( RIP Sulli.. sob...). Actually f(x) Luna sang this song to comfort Ladies's Code members after their terrible car accident which took away two lives from the band(RIP EunB and Rise). She cried a lot after winning with this song. Now her former bandmate had gone. Although I'm not a Me(U), I hope that she'll stay strong and also that she'll never think that she is alone... because she is with Victoria, Amber, Krystal and numerous Me(U)s who always love and support her.
