Same here! I was lucky enough to catch DBT a couple times between 03 and 04, and Isabel’s songs always stood out. Decoration Day, Outfit etc. He’s a wonderful songwriter!

Just saw them live at Radio City. Legitimately one of the best concerts I've ever been to. They rocked out hard on some songs and at the end of this song specifically he played a three minute guitar solo in which he absolutely shredded along with the other guitarist.

Partial Isbell/Bill Smith fan here, listened to his stuff here and there since his days with the Truckers. Gotta say, some of his stuff clicks for me, some of it really doesn't.
