You know, I'm in this mall every week or two, and I never really look up and around to appreciate the skylights and architecture. You captured it beautifully!

This is a fun video and I enjoyed your music choices. This was one of my childhood malls, but I have not been there for over 10 years. This video has inspired me to return, definitely during this Christmas season.

You couldn't have picked a better mall to do. I've been wanting to see a video of this. This is magnificent. Love that carousel. Love the decorations. This mall is on my bucket list to visit because it's a top mall. I guess now I need to capture Woodfield but I need a better camera. Great video as always.

Coventry Mall REPRESENT! I think I only got to King of Prussia like twice growing up, but my Grandparents who lived 45 minutes further out would go three or four times a year.

In the 70's my mom used to go down there with us about 2xs a year; used to be quite a excursion before Rt. 422 was completed ! Hung out there in the early 80's with my friends in the hopes of talking to some girls..

I grew up near that mall as a kid. My parents shopped at the Acme supermarket. Then, the dept stores were Korvettes, J C Penney, Gimbels,and Wannamakers. I guess that old "Penny fountain" is gone by the twin escalators

I hate admit and it’s extremely painful for me to do so, but this a beautiful mall. Yes the lack color is hard not to notice, however if your going to do bland, they have done a good doing it. There were lots of shoppers carrying bags full of goods and I didn’t see a single soda machine. The outside is inviting and well thought out. The various video screens really pop against the white walls. Finally the line up of stores is impressive. If I lived in the area I definitely shop there. Some of my favorite department stores are located there too. Additionally the filming of the mall was excellent. Finally I can’t think of much wrong with place. Something that I rarely do.
@RawRealRetail5 жыл бұрын
They kept the soda machines tucked out of the way in the bathroom corridors :)
@user-ho3dx3od9y5 жыл бұрын
Raw & Real Retail But they are still there. Besides folks can get soda at the food court. If I was a vendor in the food court I will wouldn’t want the mall competing against me by selling it too.
@user-ho3dx3od9y5 жыл бұрын
Raw & Real Retail A smart thing to do. High end retailers are never too keen on soda machines in front of their stores. I watched the video again just now and love it even more than the first time. Be sure to have a wonderful holiday season.

I use to love this mall when I was a teenager. Not anymore.

I live in Philly and I avoid the place. It's so huge it overwhelms ... it has been argued that KOP is in fact the largest mall in the entire US taking into account number of retail outlets and retail space in square footage ... even larger than The Mall of America. It's too big. Parking covers miles of paved surface. Crowds. It's a hassle. On the plus side it is immaculately clean and it exudes a kind of upscale elegance very few malls can approach. Marble everywhere. They succeed in creating a "shopping experience" ... and that is why KOP Mall is thriving.
@RawRealRetail5 жыл бұрын
American Dream supplanted both malls in terms of leasable retail space. It isn't full by any means yet, but it is currently the record holder.
@MrButch-ls8vl5 жыл бұрын
@@RawRealRetail ... And ... under construction is the new mall in Florida - American Dream Mall Miami - that will be the biggest one yet!!! Just saw it in the news today. It will include a theme park.

@@AbsoluteMdot I actually went to Cherry Hill Mall yesterday in New Jersey. It was busy and thriving, but it is much more approachable and finding parking (in the back of the mall) was nt difficult.

Cherry Hill Mall is quite nice during the holidays. They have a Christmas Story theme in their center court done up just like the movie.

It certainly is a very nice mall that we visit often. The only problem is seeing the many changes throughout the years trending towards white on white that is a little disheartening.
@rickwitt57355 жыл бұрын
@@RawRealRetail, I'm not sure what you mean by "white on white".
@RawRealRetail5 жыл бұрын
The paint scheme. White ceiling, white pillars, white floors, there are no color contrasts left like there used to be years ago.
