King Of The Airwaves Chris Moyles Celebrates An Iconic Decade In Radio! | This Morning

I was working in Topshop in Leeds when Chris got his first dj job, working in the pie in the sky- a dj booth on the ceiling. He was hilarious in every way, we struggled to work, he was that funny. Turned out that he lived on the next street from me and we used to get the bus home together after our shift. We became good friends. He then landed himself a new job in Luxembourg his first ever radio show. He had a joint 18th birthday party and leaving do at the Irish centre in Leeds, which he invited me to and I got to meet his lovely family. He also took me out for lunch at a country pub to say goodbye. He called me from Luxembourg and told me all about his new life. I moved house and lost contact with him unfortunately. He is a amazing man and I always missed his presence in my life. I was 20 years old and he was 18. I am now 50 and still remember how much he made me laugh! Chris you are a true legend 💕

Nice story, I only remember him from radio one, when I were driving the van at work and grafting hard. I have to say that I could not stand the fella or his sidekick, talked far too much when all I wanted was music, his humour weren't for me either. But each to their own I suppose.
