What would be nice is for the merm king to dedicate some merm followers to wurt if you reach high enough loyalty points to the king. These followers can be assigned to be fighters or farmers, the fighter role is obvious but the farmers role is more involved. The farmer can be assigned to a farm created by the player by any means besides wormwood, a king wants food from cultivated ground not off the floor after all. The king also wants large vegetables/fruit as well so you will need to have a good crop setup and a bird cage. Once these are set up the farmer will automatically farm the crops set up and give the excess seeds to a chest if one is set up near it.

Maxwell already summons followers and it’s on day one, maybe they can give Wurt like uhhh squire or something that’s like a big tanky fat Merm that’s fully customizable with gear

This is delving into mod territory. The king of the merms gives you higher stats, stronger followers, and merms are no longer angry at your friends. Wurt doesn’t need farmer merms on top of it all.

When the merm king dies from hunger, does the tapestry go away and a new one needs to be made or will it automatically get a new king in training assuming a merm is close enough?
