This is the meanest material I have worked to date. It’s hard to move and even harder to drive the equipment in. Despite knowing how rough this is on the equipment I can’t help myself. The earth mover in me says “Do It!!!”.

Hi to you 😉🖐️. I watched your video till the end as I usually do. These caterpillars,,...😐...a real hassle! It's always painful to work on it because a pebble or other got stuck between the pebbles and the sprocket. We are afraid that it will force it to break. We immediately think of gear...😏🙄... What a pity..!!! It's the only thing we dread... Because otherwise, it's still a great video with this bulldozer that I love, and it's a hell of a job he has to do here on this video... Very very interesting moreover for the task that he has to perform. Perhaps the guide should be further spaced out, I'm talking about the pebbles, in order to have wider interstices and therefore avoid any jamming and therefore do not force the sprocket. Here here... Have a good day. See you soon 👍😉🖐️. Nicholas of France

@@digitrc Thank you very much 🙏, it's very kind for your words, it's very appreciable. Must say that these are very good and long videos that you make, and this allows you to better understand the tasks and possibilities that each machine performs! Quite simply.. Going back to the Bulldozer, it's good if you make a video soon on the implementation of a guide assistant that promotes better operation. So see you soon and good maintenance on this beautiful dxr2 machine 👍. 😉🖐️ Nicholas. (Thank you for translating your text into French before sending it to me)

Very nice, only thing i dont like to much is the very loud electric motor noise. But i dont know if there exist less loud once. Sometimes its also just the microphone recording high sounds better.
@digitrc Жыл бұрын
No, those drives are extremely noisy. The sound system is not real loud on the dozer either. It needs a better sound system but that will be a future upgrade. There is a brushless drive upgrades that’s out there but I’m not sure if it’s quieter or not. I know it’s really expensive and not sure if I’ll upgrade to that one or not.
@phoenixsui Жыл бұрын
@@digitrc I read in a german forum that motors are noisy when not running at full speed. Basically if they get regulated all the time.
@digitrc Жыл бұрын
@@phoenixsui it’s not the motors themselves that are noisy, it’s the gear reduction system that’s noisy.

I find the best material to use these in is pre bagged topsoil ,It’s easy to move as not slacking wet, No stones to wreck tracks and sprockets win-win
@sindeecharlton8857Ай бұрын
This dozer is working like a real one to my untrained eye. So scale up the dirt and rocks to be the same size on a real dozer. How would a real operator keep the rocks out of his tracks? Is there something missing on this little one that is on the real ones?
@digitrcАй бұрын
@@sindeecharlton8857 the problem lies in the density. The dirt density and the metal density. In 1:1 scale I don’t think you would have as much material running into the tracks and the metal that the tracks and drives are made off on 1:1 equipment is much denser and stronger so it would not have as much effect. Not sure if the 1:1 has some device to clear out large debris before it reaches the drive wheel or not. I have not seen anything.

Sorry man. No clue for color match on that dozer. Maybe take it to Lowe’s or Home Depot or a paint store and see if you can get them to color match and give you the fs number.

It might be better to use sand ?
@digitrc Жыл бұрын
This was a real driveway ramp. I showcase my equipment doing real world work with real world materials. It’s harder on the equipment but it’s fun to see the finished results. That crushed recycled concrete was the worst but I moved all that material using my RC equipment and transformed a “mountain” into a drive way level transition. A ramp. The only thing that was done manually was the compaction. It was a fun project.

But check out my videos “the watering hole”. I used sand for some top layer material!! Man I love working with the sand. It was so much fun. Especially when dry!!! It’s mesmerizing.
