King praises ‘good pilot’ Prince William as he hands over military role

The King has told the Army Air Corps of his hopes that it will go from “strength to strength” under the colonelcy of his elder son, the Prince of Wales, calling him a “very good pilot indeed”.
The King vouched for the skills of his son and heir during the official handover of his role as Colonel-in-Chief at the Army Aviation Centre in Middle Wallop, Hampshire, with the pair meeting in front of an Apache for a clear public message of royal continuity.
It is their first official joint engagement since 2022, and has been widely interpreted as a show of support for the Prince of Wales as the King returns to public duties while having treatment for cancer.

I think it’s funny how the aviation legend award board asked Prince William to accept the award they wanted to give it to him, but unlike Harry William isn’t desperate to receive embarrassing awards he hasn’t deserved. Who as a search and rescue pilot along with his team has saved many lives in hazardous conditions, that would have otherwise have perished. Prince William is a great pilot, a search and rescue pilot, that along with his team saved many many lives. As heir he is not allowed to go into war, he wanted to and was refused as heirs can’t. I think saving lives ,who would have otherwise perished, search and rescue pilots fly in hazardous conditions to save lives. I commend Prince William
