Such a friendly kings guard also I notice he doesn't shout out much when someone takes the reins very smart he just pulls the reins to one side this is enough for the person to let go it keeps the horse calm and easy on the guards voice. Well done! Thank you for the video ❤🇬🇧❤🇬🇧

Leider bekommt das Pferd, durch das ziehen am Zügel immer einen bösen Ruck im Maul. Besser wäre es, wenn das Pferd Mal kurz zuschnappen würde, damit diese blöden Touristen merken würden, das es für das Pferd nicht toll ist, ständig begrabbelt zu werden.

I respect the King’s guards and most of all the horses. Please don’t grab the reins and don’t agitate the horses. Have horses of my own and they are in misery having to stand so long. Some horses are easily spooked which could end up in someone being hurt. Respect them always❤

Love these guards and their horses but that poor lad always seems to have issues with his chin strap on his helmet, the horses made me.chuckle they were like 2 nosey neighbours looking down the street to see what was happening lol.x

It’s not a chin strap it’s a face strap, originally designed to protect the face from sword blows. That’s why you don’t see the straps being worn under the chin.

I’ve never seen anything like that, ever! I’ve had plenty of opportunity, both my father and my brother were in the Blues and Royals and I’ve spent a fair amount of time in both Combermere and Hyde Park Barracks.

Ob die Menschen sich selbst mal gefragt haben, wie es wäre, wenn ihnen ständig fremde Leute ins Gesicht fassen würden? Glaub da würden viele sehr schnell wütend werden, dies ertragen diese armen Pferde jeden Tag. Auch das ewig stehen im Torbogen, ist für die Tiere kein Zucker schlecken, mit Gewicht im Rücken.

The Life Guards don’t have a chin strap as such, it goes across the face, the Blues and Royals do have a chin strap.

I'm more used to the crowds in New York City, there they don't hang around unless some movie star is there. Tour buses all over. A crowd like that would be considered a small riot. The cops on horses in the city are not so polite. I can't imagine anyone in New York standing around talking pictures of a soldier on a horse either. Maybe the Budweiser Clydesdales, but they pull beer wagons. 😂
