You've probably already figured it out but adding it as a reply for any future players who could be stuck in the swamp: The bible verse is different for different players. What matters is the first letter of each word which indicates North, South, West or East i.e. the directions within the swamp labyrinth.

When I was a kid I got all the way to the end of the OG then it took me months to figure out how to end it after saving the princess. All I had to do was type home. Hooooours trying everything and never thought to do that
