im annoyed on some people on reddit hating Frey still being annoying at this scene. Such dumb ppl didn't understood what Frey had gone through, especially when Lua never answered her cries and prayers to save Kasel. It's because of Lua forsaking them and their world that Frey was traumatised to the point it affected her sanity. One can't just simply go back to normal after that, and i don't think the scene was insignificant. I see only Kasel can help on healing Frey's wounds in time. looking forward on the next season

The bad thing is that he does not understand the environment itself, what you say is absolutely right, and it is seen that although Frey loves him very much, he does not want Kasel to suffer that responsibility. @@dragosanders4234 Actually I think I remember them saying that Lua and Lea are working together to “keep the balance”. Like when the Dark Lord is defeated the Hero takes his place and then a new hero rises. An endless cycle basically so Lua did it on purpose. Idk I remember hearing that somewhere in the game. I think Maria talked about it in Chapter 10 or something.

@@zerosorigin8387 Yeah that was also when we were told why the angels wanted to kill frey so bad when she was a kid .She had dark angel powers the angels knew that and wanted to kill her when she was a baby .But maria when she was a priestess begged them not to .She also had sealed the dark power in frey but then broke the seal when frey was a adult hoping by her teaching frey her magic as a priestess of lua that frey could keep the dark power under control herself. But you see that didn't work out since she gave in to it due to being in despair over lua abandoning kasel

One thing i noticed is that even how low frey has fallen, she still loves clause Her words to clause expressed her denial She kinda hoped for clause to hate her, to kill her, to curse her She even said this is not what she want, she doesn't want clause to die and never expected him would Yet he still see her as his little sister, and doesn't show a glimpse of hate or resentment toward her Kasel is even more sad due to how he's just being used by the dark lord, and his brother had to pay the price for him His final cry of help would be really heartbreaking if its voiced

i came back after one year to see this again, there is a few point i want to make: after the whole season those three sibling have their fate completed changed: Kasel start as very positive young man full of hope and desire to follow his older brother but after everything fate throw at him, he end as Dark Lord againt his will and when he turn back to normal, he not only lose (do not know clause is in coma) his beloved older brother, now he is hated for his countryman and declared traitor for something he have not control, he can run away with frey when she ask but he didnt, he know that both him and frey will end regret it much later down in the line, so in order to be happy with frey, he need to atone for all those crime he did as a dark lord more for frey´s sake that for his own, in the end of season one he lost his positive but keep himself strong in order to heal frey of her wound and to create a better future for the one he loved the most: Frey. Clause start as very proud and acomplished soldier, part of the princess party and hero of his own, he is driven to create a home for his brother and sister, Kasel and Frey, especially Kasel,. after Kasel end as dark lord, he end leaving his country as a deserter in order to find at way to saved kasel, filled with guilt because his inability to do something for his adopted sibling led him to get Galatica, the god slayer sword with deep consequence, in the end he managed to save his brother however he paid a heavy price for it. and dear god Frey, starting as Holy woman full of love and faith, her faith for the goddess and her love for kasel is her driving force and the reason for why she acompined Kasel in his travel, gentle and well manered, a genius in her art she is a up coming star in the church with bright future, but beneath all that lies a woman far more emotional and frail that it first apear with her faith in the goddess and kasel is the two thing that keep her sane in the darkest moment. tit came the moment that kasel is abandoned to his fate a dark lord for the goddess, with her faith broken for the event and knowing that kasel as a dark lord will became the next enemy for the world and having no way to saved him, she end falling to the darkness as a fallen (frey was angel in her past life) and join dark lord kasel with the only intention to protect him, after that event she became a very unpleasent individual who no longer show any of her previous belief as a priestess, killing and murdering anyone who try to harm kasel and keep him safe, without her faith and kasel own nature to keep her sane in what is know her darkest moment she display a brutality and is driven for her desire to keep kasel safe out sheer fear and hatred for everything that lead kasel to his fate: the goddess and the people, she only want to keep what she hold dear safe, the one she loved abouve all else kasel, this led her to split from her friend and blame Clause for being late after he promised that in the worst moment he will always protect kasel. a lot of people find this frey annoying but i find her really sad. after Kasel is saved and clause died (he is not), she beg to clause to get up and hate both kasel and frey, this is done because she want him to live even in hatred, more a personal experience, and after kasel say he want to make amend and everyone want them both dead for all the event that lead to everything, frey snap sick and tired of everything the goddess and fate, she beg kasel to run away with her somewhere safe and away from everthing that harmed them but kasel put stop to her but embraced her and telling her that he want to take this path knowing that Frey deepdown she is a gentle woman and she just trying to keep what she hold most dear to her safe like everyone else, kasel want to atone for everything so they can have a happy and without regret life and tell her that she is the person who he loved the most. in the end of season 1 frey end with her sanity almost shattered and her faith broken and woman that is filled with both hatred and fear who want more that anything to keep the one she loved the most safe: Kasel. i hope kasel help frey heal from her wound, we can only wait for season 2.

English: I really loved this, and the dramatic scenes with Frey are very good compared to the anime which is "FOLL". But well, it is seen that they are banished, already by the people of Orvelia, it was seen that scarlett "wanted" to forgive them but even if she tries hard, the people of Orvelia will not change the idea. The only thing is that when he has a chance the two (Kasel and Frey) will be recognized again. Well, it was fantastic!, and has to wait for a new arc. That's why Hilda want to learn the truth behind Galicta. You know, most of TechnoMagi Kingdom facility was destroyed, the only way to help Clause is doing something with Galicta itself. Maybe use it as power engine to revival machine or something.

Well he did go and slaughter a lot of them by this point so it’s hard for them to just accept that he was being controlled. I think it’s scumy too that they didn’t want to give him a chance after all the good he did but that’s how it is. Clause saved them again, if he didn’t die for them I doubt Scarlet would have let them go.

Selene herself was like “yo wtf, this ain’t right” Lorraine was upset about Kasel’s banishment as well but there was nothing they could do. The ones that really hated Kasel was Scarlet’s and Artemia’s Knights. If they just forgave and forget the Soldiers would probably Rebel so Scarlet banishing Kasel was a kind of Crowd control while honoring Clause’s wishes to keep them alive. Plus Artemia had to let them go because Kasel literally saved her from Luckiel’s blow.
