I think he was already in that size. This is the extra dimensional planet Apokolips on the Sphere of the Gods, its true sheer size is Way Bigger than the physical Universe itself, and the Portal just shift the immeasurable size of the New Gods to be fit in anywhere they go, also shift the sizes of anyone coming to it there too. Therefore by this speculation, Both of Trigon and Darkseid are at their True Full Cosmic Giant Sizes there.

@@Ghostflame780 the reason he gets nerf CONSTANTLY is because he becomes boring, at one point superman was so powerful that he could literally beat anyone that didn't have reality bending abilities with little to no effort if he wanted to. it made him getting rofl stomped by Luthor or Grundy before he one shots them just plain STUPID. So DC nerf's him on a regular basis so there's actual struggle in his fights with Mortals. otherwise every single one of his fights would have to be against beings that could blow up the earth just by blinking to make his fights interesting.
