You should spend your time going to fish with the guys that own and develop stinger, spoons, salmon, candy, spoons, or dream Weaver they are still made in the United States, Michigan or Wisconsin. Let’s support those guys.

Salmon Candy got bought out by KMDA and many items are made in Mexico now. Michigan Stinger got bought out by Gibbs Delta from Canada.

Many items are simply asebled in Mexico for the simple reason that there are not nearly enough people willing to assemble here! If they assembled here, with the cost of labor, the price of tackle would skyrocket to get the appropriate finished product, which then everyone would complain how expensive it is!

It might be tough to buy "made in American", but buying from companies whose corporate address is another country is not equivalent to buying goods made in China. Unfortunately, not buying goods made in China is nowadays unrealistic. To me, Moonshines were the best. Not anymore. That's too bad.

Copper is not heavier than lead. Copper has the atomic mass of 63.546, and lead has the atomic mass of 207.2. The deeper depth is acquired by the smaller diameter required to achieve desired strength. The larger diameter drag in the water causes lift.

Tom and I fished together almost every night 30 years ago and had some great times together fishing out of his 14 foot cartop. Have some really fond memories wish we had stayed in touch but work and family sent us down different paths.

I thank the man for the creation of the company but also don't like the spoons our Chinese made, sorry but their not as good

Agreed... I noticed packages in stores that don't even have the same hooks. The same 2 spoons had 2 different hooks.

Yes, he created a great product with a STRONG following that now feels betrayed. I’d like to know how a man that used a Christian symbol on his product packaging could sell out to the Chinese??

Moonshine now made in china. Done with this brand. The quality fell apart.

I thought more about the Moonshine Lure situation. I think it's wrong to disparage the Moonshine owner for accepting the sale to a Chinese company. He's got to look out for his and his family's best interests and no one can blame him for that. If there's an issue in our minds, we should look at the business climate in our country that led to this. I know most folks don't like politics discussed on these channels but like it or not, it's important. Please be sure to vote for candidates that support our country so companies like Moonshine can stay locally owned.

Did you fish with the Chinese spoons where the hooks break and the paint chips off? Sellout
@cncfxstb2 ай бұрын
Sucks they sold out manufacturing of the spoons to china. Dumb and a bad move imo.
