Subjectively speaking, Tesseract is one of my favorite prog/rock bands, as well as one of my favorite all-time bands. I have found great solace and hope within those metaphoric walls, and it's great to see someone else discovering how amazing that "space they've built" can be. In my opinion, you should start at the beginning of their catalogue and move forward, but any way you choose is a good place to start.

Their last two albums have both been really good. Would have to say my favorite track is Nocturne. Love most of what Tesseract and also Sky Harbor have to offer.

I am a drummer who normally plays TesseracT - Holy crap tho, King is very complex. I take lessons from Jay, the drummer, so I'm gonna have to ask him how to do it.

My favorite fucking band right here. Good to see it clicked for you this time. King is a better introduction to what Tesseract's sound is about. Please react to their songs - NOCTURNE, OF MATTER (Live in Studio), SURVIVAL.

I think their two most popular songs are Concealing Fate Part 1: Acceptance, and Nocturne (with a different singer, Ashe O'Hara). If you want something that introduced a lot of people to the band, either of those are probably a good choice. All of their albums are great in my opinion, as others have suggested I would recommend just starting from the first album and making your way forward if you wanna check them out on your own time. Altered State is probably the most easy listening one (no screams and not a lot of heavy riffs) and One is probably their most aggressive album. Anyway, cool thoughts, hope you enjoy this band!

I recommend you react to TesseracT's song Tourniquet from their previous album Polaris. Probably one of the most beautiful most haunting songs I've ever heard.

Great stuff man, This track is more exciting and to the point than Hexes for sure. I can appreciate Hexes but it's not a favourite of mine. Altered State is their best record by far so if you haven't heard any of that or certain tracks would be cool to see your reaction. Would also love to see your take on some Skyharbor stuff, specifically the album they did with Dan (current vocalist of Tesseract) "Guiding Lights". Bonus suggestion just cause i've been hooked on it would be Plini - Electric Sunrise, I was aware of Plini for a while but just never really checked his stuff out but that track is simply beautiful and awesome.

Sorry to see KZbin dropped the ban-hammer on this video, Beau. Currently, watching it from "Austria" thanks to my VPN. Hope to see more content soon! Your community misses you bro. \m/

Tesseract like this? Survival is similiar (without the screams in vox). Postones is a sick drummer. You should check out Skyharbor. The most recent album has a new singer (maybe Blind Side or Dim off that one) but the previous LP had Thompkins and def listen to Evolution.
