Celery grows better in soil beds. You have to do some blanching technique to get the stems big and to produce bigger ones.

Hi Angie, saw you jogging around Rockwell few weeks ago or i guess a month ago. My heart wants to scream and shout your name. I can't contain my inner kilig. 🥰 It really made my whole day when I saw you there. Maghapon po akong masaya kahit hectic ang araw. My bf and I are passing thru Rockwell that early morning because he was driving me to work in Makati. Hi Angie. Different plants have different pH requirements. Since you have a common cistern, the nutrient solution's pH might be good for some plants but not good for others.

Usually I cook kale instead of taro leaves in coconut milk with tuna in can or any smoked fish with Red chillis like our LAING there😋😘

In my desperation to eat laing (with taro leaves) I used kale instead. I probably killed off any vitamins from cooking down the kale, but it stood up to the cooking process and in the end, it tasted like laing! Leaf curl is also an issue with the basil you showed. Maybe check the pH of the soil for what each plant needs; calcium, nitrogen? I have seen great success in vertical planting of zucchini. Celery is a late fall or winter crop; does not like hot temps. Perhaps herbs or blue lake green beans may yield better success in the vertical garden. Thanks for sharing your verti-garden.
