Thanks Don for this treasure. I was born in 1975 in Waterhouse Kingston and I can still recall my mom and aunty bathing me in the tin tub in the yard and these heavenly tunes blasting all around me. King Tubby will live on forever. These tunes will outlast any of these 21st century tunes

Mutesa Mushin You said it! This here is the real thing. Good for the soul. I was 11 years old in 1975. My Mother, and her mother and so on for generations were from Trinidad, of Spanish decent. I used to spend summers in Trinidad, Tobago, Barbados, and even visited Jamaica in 73. Those were probably the best years the "Islands" ever saw. Lots of love and happy people. Music everywhere. Too bad those days are gone....But NOT forgotten. I listen to old Dubplate every day. It keeps my spirits high, and my heart beating light and easy.
