@@pauls9034wtf you talking bout bro? You obviously never seen what the hood is like. When everyone around you is dying or doing dirt it becomes normalized. An this ain’t exclusive to Chicago. You look at any major city in the United States and you’ll find this sort of situation. People come from nothing and crazy shit gets normalized in the interest of survival and safety. If there was another way to live, I’m sure that MANY of them would take that over what they have to do. Shit, I grew up in the country when I was younger and I still seen shit like this happen over and over in my life. So you can say life ain’t supposed to be like it is, but IT IS WHAT IT IS. I'm glad someone actually did a documentary about king von.he wasn't as bad as everybody thought he was.we all have grown up and made mistakes nobody is perfect At all. I'm from Chicago and I understood exactly what he was saying. Just because we grew up in a jacked up environment doesn't mean we can't change.he was going places and doing good that's the side the media didn't show of him. Rest well king von. You didn't deserve what happened to you.

He was really smart and had a lot of insight. Many people go down bad paths and arn't even aware of what they're doing. He was able to evaluate who he was and what he did and thats why he was able to turn his life around somewhat. It's really sad that the past kind of caught up with him just when he seemed to be free of that life. I'm not even a huge rap fan but I heard about his life and I was captivated. His storytelling is amazing and he seemed to have a huge heart inside him. Even through everything he went through he still had his heart. It's easy in that life to turn cold and ruthless but he held on to his soul.

@@marqueemark5174 I couldn’t have said it better myself. It’s not even about being a “fan”. Obviously I didn’t grow up with this dude or lived the life he did, but you didn’t need to know him personally to tell that there was just something different about him. Aside from all of the violence, and the cards he was dealt, he had a huge heart and never thought about moving on or making it big by himself … he always thought about feeding his family and his people. I respect the fuck out of that.

He was a warrior at the end of the day. I couldn't see him as a lawyer, but he saw himself as one with words. He was articulate, a poet tbh. He was different. He didn't give a damn about hoes. He cared about his team, his girl (Asian doll), and his family. You could see a sensitive side to him. A young man trying to have fun. He was also able to turn on the aggressive mode (what you often hear in his music) like a switch. He would often be chilling, being lovey, working on his craft, or making money moves. A warrior, a lover, and an artist. He painted a vivid picture, sadly not everyone likes fist... The way of a soldier, and thus: long live king von 👑

The only things I know about this handsome young man, are what I’ve learned via KZbin; both the positives and the negatives. I try to not judge anyone, their situations or what they’ve done in their past or the pain they’ve inflicted on others, because I don’t know their life, their story, their trials and tribulations, the internal demons they may have battled with and may possibly still be battling, or what happened in their life to have made them what and who they are. I don’t know his familiar status or what influences he had as a child or lack thereof. So I won’t glorify him or anyone for that matter only learning hearsay. I was fortunate enough to grow up in a good home, in a good neighborhood with both Parents who protected me and my Brothers from the streets and the world. I was fortunate - and I realize that many people unfortunately didn’t have what I was blessed to have. Seeing senseless acts of violence is disturbing. And although this young man may have led a lifestyle or glorified a life that possibly played a roll in his demise, he appeared to have a good heart with good intentions. Maybe he didn’t act on that goodness as much as he should have, but maybe he never had a chance to and only did what he knew how to do. Either way, his life and the other young men’s life that were taking because of him or quite possibly by him, was senseless and beyond sad. I just hope and pray that those following him for either the good or bad reasons, can learn from him and make the changes he didn’t get the chance to make. I hope his fans, friends, Brother’s or etc, don’t make his death and so many others, a death in vain and promote a sense of change that’s most needed.

@justbreakingballs
@justbreakingballs 2 жыл бұрын
That's not true the fact everyone doesn't turn into a savage doesn't mean it doesn't produce the violence. See the streets in an affluent area and see if they look the same. If it was just up to everyone what they are it would be the same all over. Of course its complex but your surroundings do condition you. Peoples accent is the most obvious example of this. That's just verbal conditioning but other behaviours and crucially thinking get conditioned in the same way. When peoples mind opens a bit and they see their behaviour is conditioning its one of the first ways to be free but the neurological conditioning from a young age isn't easy to stop. It's like someone who's practiced the guitar everyday all the or life stopping playing it, yes they can stop playing but they will always k ow how, same with language, try to unlearn your mother tounge. You can't. You could maybe learn another language over the top of if and use that other language but you will still know the original language for yrs and yrs probably forever. Those neuro pathways are burnt into the brain.

Ofc but u have to remember its just another Numbers game.. u put enough ppl doesnt matter colour or anything like that in poverty ridden area where there just aint enough opportunities to everyone, lets say u put 500k ppl there, its obivious higher % of people gonna become criminals cause everyones gotta eat, feed families, pay rent and buy clothes.. now take those same 500k ppl and put them in nice suburbs with good schools, more working opportunities and it will be less % of ppl doing crimes.. ppl like to say ”usual suspects” etc but u have to be dumb to think enviroment dont affect what u gonna do in life. And before someone says ”im from the hood and i never committed crime” yeah good for you, keep going but in bigger scale these issues comes to light..
