This product really works, I was using the RV park’s WiFi and it was a nightmare just to bring up any web page. Once I set it up on my pre-wired palomino puma my speed shot up to acceptable level’s to where I can actually work from my laptop. It Definitely boosts range and performance.

My dad has got an RV and we happen to use the WIFI here frequently but it sucks but he got one of these king routers and it won’t provide any internet connection. What could we do to get internet connection on the router we tried literally everything

IF YOU ARE A TRUCKER LIKE MYSELF AND YOUR USING THIS VIDEO FOR HELP PLEASE NOTE THAT IF YOUR AT A TRUCK STOP FOR THE NIGHT U MUST CONNECT TO A WIFI THAT ISNT PASSWORD ORIENTED , FOR EXAMPLE IF AT A PILOT IT WONT WORK BECAUSE PILOT WIFI ISNT ACTUALLY FREE TO THE PUBLIC (as in u have to pay for time to use its WiFi 🙄) SO THE KING WONT TRULY CONNECT TO IT , BUT IF THAT PILOT HAS A MCDONALDS OR DENNYS IT WILL TRULY CONNECT BECAUSE THIER NETWORK IS ACCESSIBLE TO EVERYONE WITHIN RANGE SO BE MINDFUL YOU HAVE TO A FIND A FREE OPEN WIFI NETWORK TO CONNECT ‼️‼️‼️. How about an actual install in prewired RV. Not the program set up, the coaxial cable behind the wall plate and under the rooftop antenna. I regret buy the swift and router package. Nothing in the instructions help with the cable connections in these areas. My Wildwood has a black and purple coax cable. Which is what.

I did all this and it works great. I wanted to change the connection that we would be using. Since I have already set up the initial set up when I try to go to the web page again it says it is already set up and won't let me get to the settings to change the location.

Is there a way to disable the wifi signal when using ethernet to connect my computer instead? I want to keep wifi for receiving shared internet, but disable for the wifi that's put out in my space.

This doesn't seem to work when I connect to Proton VPN. I can't connect to the router page, not do any of the options on the router page work. There is no info provided about the VPN settings either.

I commend King for at least trying to address customers request for more information about their product, but why are they so out of touch with what their customers really want to know about their products?? The whole point and the primary feature of pre-wiring the camper is to prevent the RV owner from having to drill a hole in their roof and risk damaging the delicate weatherproofing/seal. Telling someone to just "mount the antenna on the roof" is just oblivious to the whole selling point. The one thing that would convince me to buy this and the only question that never gets answered by King is HOW do I attach the King Swift antenna on the roof. I have been told through one King customer service rep that there is "supposed" to be a plate included in the upgrade kit that allows the user to attach the Swift antenna base to the King Omni antenna base so that they never have to drill a hole in the roof. However, I have never seen a video of it, nor have I seen it included in the specifications, description, or manual, or any forum discussions. FOREST RIVER AND KING CONNECT - PLEASE JUST ANSWER THE MOST IMPORTANT QUESTION THAT ANYONE WHO WOULD NEED TO KNOW TO BE INTERESTED IN THIS PRODUCT - HOW IS THE EXTERNAL ANTENNA SUPPOSED TO BE MOUNTED?????

Bob, I'm working on a video to show how that goes. I had the same frustration, but THANK GOD I ordered the right thing and installed it. The bracket is free but you have to put a check mark in the website to get it included. Crazy. Let me know if you want help before I make the video.

Everything worked up to the repeater setup. I logged into the WiFi to repeat but it still wouldn’t connect after restarting the router.

Sure would be real nice if dealers told you what you needed for Wi-Fi in a pre wired for Wi-Fi trailer we just bought. Have no clue. 2021 forest river wildwood xlite

Hello Kris! I just checked what is included on your model Forest River. You are going to have a shell on your roof, on that shell there is a small circle on the left that can be popped out with a screwdriver and a hammer, behind that you will find a cable. The other end of that cable goes to a blank black wall plate that will say "Pre-Wired for WiFi," or something along those lines. That cable is used for the KING Swift and the KING Falcon series so that you do not need to run the wire through your coach, just install the antenna on the roof and the router inside where the cable comes out of the wall plate. If you have any further questions I would recommend you call us directly at 952-922-6889 and our customer service reps can help you further. You can respond here as well but it may take me a bit to respond as I am not monitoring comments on KZbin daily.

One time purchase, i got it and it works the same as the wifi it supplements. Requires upstream router but works overall ok. I say it was worth it.

There are 5 RJ45 ports in the back of the unit and you guys don't mention anything about these ports...not even in the manual.

I figured out, that if you push the reset button for like 5 seconds and start over you can reset your password. I hope this helps you.
