What i've been fortunate to hear is testament to a sonic coven that invokes a sonic confluence of melancholic-ethereal atmospherics tempered with low slung frequency oscillation and glacial shoe-gaze inspired forays into glacial momentum. Prominent guitar presence anchors this conjuration-forge to something that resembles My Bloody Valentine on Heroin and depressives. Imagine the funeral-doom density of Esoteric in a head on collision with the celestial shoegaze of My Bloody Valentine and you're close to describing the sonic conjurations of King Woman. Epic, melancholic,immense yet fragile.

Iam amazed by this album. I hear some Alice In Chains mixed with a very doom metal sound that is depressing and dark as fuck. The vocalist is amazing, her ghostly voice is an instrument to the band and mixed with the darkness of the sound it creates a strong record.

Many commets say this album is kinda dissapointing, the vocals and all. I thougth like that too, but it grew into me. It's an album that is ageing more than well, I think we were all a bit rushed to the conclussion, for now I think is one of the dearest albums I have in my repertory. You guys just didn't give it time.

Probably is the dreamy shoegazy/chelsea wolfe style production as noted, see them live as I did with them supporting Wolfe and you'll change your mind, I found they were loads better live and she actually has a really powerful voice that lends itself to sludge and doom, not that you'd know it on this studio release...They sounded a lot heavier and rougher live, hopefully they'll embrace that power and harshness in their sound in future releases...

I'm a tad disappointed in this. i think musically they have achieved it perfectly as to what style of music they play on their Doubt EP. For a 4 song Ep, the songs are more memorable than this. But I don't hate the band. It's only their first album.
