YOB is probably my favorite band, and this album was the first I really listened to a lot. Great stuff, would recommend to everyone their entire discography. Atma and The Unreal Never Lived are musts, Clearing the Path to Ascend is my favorite album of all time (so far)

I've only become a fan after Clearing the Path, so all this other stuff is completely new to me. I'll have to check it out eventually.

I really feel like Yob is very spiritual, meaning it has an introspective effect on me. Phenomenal band. 'Marrow' is my favorite track of theirs.
@skinblanketed6 жыл бұрын
If you haven't already, I hope you get the chance to see them live. One of the best live experiences I've had. As good as they are on album, they were meant to be heard live.

Yob is unreal, I can't agree more, they are easily one of my most favorite bands from the 2000s, so good.

I was in a band with Mike Scheidt in 1987 when he was 16 and I was 17. He was more eclectic and I was more mainstream Shred and Hard Rock/Metal. He sang on my first original and played bass, I play lead. I believe this is the earliest available recording of Mike Scheidt Vocals.
