This is the best multi scale layout video on KZbin, also best plane radius demo as well…. Also I love the overheard camera angle aswell!

I agree with you, multiscale fretting seems easier than parallel fretting when you don't have a pull saw !

Prefer to watch quality KZbin videos on the 55 inch screen. Yes your in that category Chris 🙂. I watch your videos on the big TV 🤘 How do now Sharpen your tools!

So I’m honoured! I use the ‘scary sharp system’ and two videos. One for flat blades and one for carving chisels 👍

@@KingBespokeCreations Nice 👍 Do you use an expensive phone camera may I ask? Your picture and sound is always spot on

@@afterlifeguitars most of my video were on an iPhone X, recently upgraded to a 13pro. I use a plug in lapel mic for sound.

@@KingBespokeCreations Ok I get ya so fairly expensive phone. Robb (my brother) said I needed to upgrade my phone. I don't trust myself with them tho. I'm always dropping them and smashing the screens 🤣 Only had this one for two weeks and guess what happened in the workshop last week? ............So never balance your phone on a piece of ply on a piece of ply on a workbench and then remove bottom piece of ply. 🤣

@@afterlifeguitars all the overhead shots were done with the iPhone X. I kept it for just this type of stuff

I was thinking of getting a square section aluminium tube, and creating a 34/35/36/37 inch fret ruler on each face. That way I will have the settings for any bass I'm likely to build. What do you think?
@timbeaton50452 жыл бұрын
PS really enjoying this series!
@KingBespokeCreations2 жыл бұрын
Sounds like a plan. It would need to have very squared edges, so there would be no gap between the ruler and board. Better accuracy.
@malcolmgray12272 жыл бұрын
Did you sand it after you planted it? If not that's pretty good going on the plane to get rid of any flat part.
@KingBespokeCreations2 жыл бұрын
No sanding at all

Nicely done.

Hi, I guess this is a stupid question, but what is the reason for a multi scale bass/guitar🤔
@KingBespokeCreations4 ай бұрын
There are many reasons some people like them. A lot will say the different string lengths will tune better, thicker strings want to be longer. Others really like the ergonomics of playing one, less wrist twisting. Others just think they look cool!
@rollonsummertime4 ай бұрын
@@KingBespokeCreations I agree they look really good but i'll stick to the easy way,🤣 thanks again,,,
