Jimmy, what about the other three tests it will perform? You completely ignored the Status of Health (SOH), Status of Charge (SOH) and Internal Resistance (in milliohms). I would hope you'll remake this video to show the tool's full potential.

Jimmy if after you get the CCA reading if you press the down arrow you will get soc reading and soh reading state of charge state of health

Got same tool of fleebay for around 9 months now. Works spot on, easy to use. Has reverse terminal protection as you seen Jimmy accidentally mixing up positive n negative. Jimmy didn't showed all the features. It measures not just cold cracking amps, but also shows state of health of battery, state of charge of battery, voltage, and resistance between batteries cells. I experienced most bad batteries has anything above 10 in resistance and anything less then 10 has a chance still be good but not necessarily as cca can be low. If resistance is high then battery is failed inside between cells so no point trying charging same with cca, if cca is low it's impossible to revive a battery by charging up. Extremely good cheap tool! Professional tools like that can cost couple thousands. Plenty info on KZbin and better more in depth reviews!

I understand where you're coming from but truth be told this would not be something I would give my guys. I bought some topdon battery testers and a Bosch one because we do battery tests with every service and we even double check the topdon results with the Bosch. As I recall, even you have the tester for the Launch. It might be a good product but my personal opinion is that this is more for the hobbyist.

This isn't a bad bit of kit for the price. I have the Topdon BT200 which does a cranking test and an alternator test as well as the battery health.

Useful gadget and not expensive either! Wonder how well it would work on small SLA batteries like the ones in boost packs...

@@JJ-jc8yv it should be OK, but some of the ones I used to sell weren't that accurate with low capacity batteries. Might buy one of these though, it's really cheap for what it offers.
