they are the same functions, the difference is common used by mechanic are listed in front page, more reset services in module menu are less used.

Are there scanners designed specifically for Audi?

I have not had the opportunity to review one specifically for Audi although I'm sure there are some out there. The beauty of the Ediag Elite and many other products from Kingbolen is that it's a network capable device with the ability to download upgrades that then allow you to have all the software needed for different auto manufacturers. Other scanners have the software loaded on them from the factory so they are only capable of doing what they have programmed, no additional upgrades or features from that point forward. So for example if 2025 Audi comes out with something new, a scanner that has preloaded software from the factory, if you purchased it prior to 2025, it will not be able to diagnose or work with it. The kingbolen products would be able to download the updates and keep it working. Hope that helps in some way!

This one is multi scanner. Only read and clears dtc + 15 resets as battery sync AFL. Special tool for Audi is pc based and use cable, It is completely simmilar for most cheap ELM327 + Car Scanner Pro app. But go for at least Vlinker MC+ dongle for quality result.

You’ll need one that supports European cars like the one I use in my video. Bidirectional, service resets and battery registration are the features you want for a scanner for European cars, saves you money from the stealership if you can do it yourself.🙌🏻

My vehicle is a 2021 Ford Bronco Sport, I can't imagine that much has changed but definitely odd. So what is resetting? The scanner? Does it connect in the app at all?

@BroncoOutdoors was this device design to work on mobile device only? I was reviewing ediag app on my tablet and it states it is not compatible on this tablet.
