Most insane part is that he probably doesn’t care all that much. Sure, he’d prefer to be happy, mentally sane, and provided with things to do, but these are all things that are much less important than success, power, and victory in his twisted, sick little mind. As long as he gets one up over those that oppose him, he’ll do all types of mental gymnastics to convince himself that he got the good ending, and he’ll stay there, no matter what logic in his head tells him otherwise, because Porky lives in his own perceived reality. He’ll get sick and insane beyond reason in the capsule, but for him, that would be much better than losing a battle and taking it in stride, because the key to his satisfaction is defeating others.

The phase distorder side effects, remember when ness and friends had to become robots to go back to the past and defeat giygas? The after credits has the Pigmask Armys theme playing in darkness when you bump into a certain object. Most people who played the game assume it is Porky still in the Absolutely Safe Capsule after the destruction of the world with him finally getting his wish being the only remaining person in the world with the Dragon. He got his happy ending but I think a lot of people will agree with me when I say I somewhat feel happy for Porky as he was not truly evil as the cruelty was a result of his abusive father and that went beyond measure once Giygas' influence took over him partially but in the end he just wanted a friend who'd play with him like any normal person, which is why he kept mementos of Ness as he still looked to him as a good friend and just wanted his acceptance. The time travel business though, I assume when he went to the future his body aged the amount of years he went forward but his mind did not which is where Mother 3 took place as it looks like he settled there permanently due to becoming immobile. He may be immortal in terms of life somehow through time travel events but its never proven that he is immortal in terms of bodily harm to the point of death as if he was so sure of that, he'd never have slipped into the Capsule for protection. It is ironic though, he used to be the bully and if you look at it in another way, the player becomes the bully who attacks Porky (who is now the victim due to just wanting a friend to play with) in battle and he retreats to his safe place just like how people that are bullied do.

He’s supposed to resemble his child self, due to his constant experimentation with time travel, he’s just aged beyond the level where any human could realistically live, and he lives because of his immortality. Obviously, even as an immortal, these years have not passed by without effect, and Porky is now essentially a zombie, which goes quite well with his mental state, as it too has gone through so much torture, molding it beyond belief, yet still in the image of a ten year age old. No matter what Porky accomplishes, he will always be sick, unhappy and ill, yet only concerned with power and victory, rotting himself madly in the process.
