Buy here now: kingbriteled.en.alibaba.com/p...
This LED grow light is for a 2ft x 2ft or 60cm x 60cm grow space. I tested it at the minimum recommended hanging height of 1ft or 30cm and it delivers an impressive 884 µmols/m2/second to the plant canopy.
The main channel includes Samsung LM301H Evo 3000K and 5000K white LEDs and a lot of 660nm red diodes.
LEDs: Samsung LM301H EVO 3000K mix 5000K+ 660nm UV IR。
LEDs Quantity: 592pcs
You can also separately switch on UVA and IR LED channels to widen the spectrum delivered to your plants.
You can buy the 150W light direct from Kingbrite on Alibaba and Alliexpress for between $115 to $120 plus shipping and import charges

What a cool little board. I ordered one straight away. I feel like those UV/IR switches should just be the norm by now. Fun to see it on an inexpensive board. To be clear guys, there are 3 versions of this light. The least expensive one does use the LM281B LEDs. The other two are LM301H EVOs with the difference being one is 432 count and one is 592 count. All models include independent UV/IR. the 592 count model ran me about 160 US.

Helle, I would like to ask for information. in Europe this is the cheapest light to buy because they now have eu warehouse and have light available, however I am a little perplexed by the number of 660nm LEDs, 168. kingbrite makes another 150w light that is very similar but with 448 lm301h and only 16 of 660nm. I had never seen a light with so many 660 LEDs. Do you think it has a good spectrum?

only trouble was the heat dissipation..the single diodes changed everything..i absolutely love the kindled with spectrum control and these are similar..which is brilliant because you can only get the kindled from america..if you can dial in the spectrum like this light and kindled then thats the bench mark imo..@@jebin2

I have the very similar Growealth G1500 and G3000 which you recommended last year and want more. (But alas I'm retired) I also have several of the small I M V Sincere that you also recommended and they are working great and are very very cheap. No dark corners around here. But plans continue. THX for your continued test and post

Hi, how do you use the UVA and IR channels?
@racebiketuner
@racebiketuner 4 ай бұрын
@@MIGROLIGHT I use G1500 for starting veggie seedlings with PAR adjusted to 300-400 PPFD. Until recently, I had UVA on and IR off. No controlled experiments with large sample sizes, but lots of empirical evidence for better root development and fatter stems at the expense of height. Good for me because I transplant outdoors in a windy environment. The downside is their reduced height affects yield if you are growing outdoors in an area with a short growing season. This was a big problem for me with bell peppers in 2023. The latest scientific literature suggests using both channels all the time is better (closer to sunlight), so that's my plan for 2024.

I have some KingBrite boards - not these ones specifically - I have the LM301B v2 boards (3500k). A friend of mine has some LM301B boards from HLG. Granted I paid way less for my set up, but his boards run SO MUCH COOLER it's insane. Overall I've been happy with mine but 6 of those boards on a 600 watt driver runs way too hot at full power. I built my own so I don't know how their ready-made lamps compare. IDK if I've ever turned mine up past 75%. They're good bang for your buck, but IDK if I would necessarily recommend them. Keep in mind, my set up is getting old and I can't speak to the current quality of their products. KingBrite is the cheapest way to get the most (decent) lighting imo. (or at least they were when I researched all this stuff back when LM301B was new). The general consensus is that they were one of only like 2 or 3 chinese brands making boards worth using. Between me and someone else we've bought probably a little over 100 boards and so far only 1 showed up looking off - there was a little extra solder on one of the LEDs. I sent them an e-mail asking if it was something I should be concerned about, and they replied with a tracking number. Shoutout to Vicky! Are their boards as good as Migro or HLG etc.? No. Are they good enough? Yes. They're not bottom of the barrel - they're decent. I was able to get nearly 3x as much coverage for the same amount of money building my own lamps through KingBrite than I would have been able to do purchasing a HLG kit or a Migro setup. Perhaps a side by side done by a professional would have different results, but for myself, they were indistinguishable. The only noticable different I had between the HLG and KingBrite boards was the heat and my wallet... and you can just manage heat by running more boards per driver or dimming. I actually liked that they kicked out heat sometimes because I live somewhere with cold winters (saved on gas heating bill). I've been subbed to this channel for a while now and the amount of information this man has given us is invaluable. Whenever I retire my current rig, I'll be looking at Migro first. He's demonstrated over the years that he really knows his stuff, and can be honest to a fault. Who else would test competitors products and publish the results when they outperform their own products!? He literally goes out of his way to provide us with information that the manufacturers of these products don't always provide, publishing unbiased results. I have a lot of respect for that.

If they output photons they will do something, most growers add fluorescent UVB to increase oil and terpene production. UVA has little effect on this.

Hmm..?! Samsung LM301H EVO's don't always have that double blue spike (425nm, 440nm..?!)..?! I usually notice this double spike with EVO's..?! Are the 425nm(?) and 440nm EVO's different Diodes used together in these other EVO's, or is that The EVO Mint Diodes..?! Just wondering..?! Thanks for another great review Shane!👍💯✌️

I did some experiments last year starting veggie seedlings. My G1500 with UVA/IR worked significantly better than several brands of lights without these features. If it's within your budget, I'd recommend a light with these channels. You don't need to be concerned about the switches. The latest scientific literature suggests using both channels all the time is better because it's closer to sunlight.

Well using just 5000k and 3000k homemade lights seems to be killing it! So when I added 660nm for a couple of runs I swapped them back out for 3000k noticing nothing. So the little UV and IR seems like gimmicks from my first hand perspective having not used them! Yes more side by side testing is needed!

Why are they still doing 3000 and 5000k when plants dont care about color temperature? Wouldn't it make sense to just use higher efficiency 5000k diodes and 660nm reds?
@randylayhee3018
@randylayhee3018 4 ай бұрын
Umm I’m pretty sure that would result in one of those old school purple/blurple leds that everyone has moved away from, and I think there’s a good reason people have moved away from them, plants do care about spectrum and that spectrum combo did not work the best
@timturk1899
@timturk1899 4 ай бұрын
It's all about the Spectrum of light, and combining different colored Diodes creates different spectrums. The more Red available in 3000k°, combined with more Bluish 5000K°, can create different spectrums of "White" light. Especially compared to using only 4000K° Diodes, which are always the same spectrum.
@MIGROLIGHT
@MIGROLIGHT 4 ай бұрын
The cool white is higher PAR output per watt and warm white is higher % red for better photosynthetic efficiency. It widens the spectrum but how much difference it makes I am not so sure
@LED4all

@@MIGROLIGHT yeah, but if you got 660nm red it kind of covers it?
@LED4all
@LED4all 4 ай бұрын
@@timturk1899 yeah, but studies show that plants don't care about color temperature. And by adding 660nm red you should be providing enough red light lost in the efficiency of warmer diodes.
