@@MIGROLIGHTneed an update with the 69 PRO+ controller, the VPD function and all the associated components that can do multispeed are insanely cool
@IanDDalton Жыл бұрын
I understand the plants don't need a sunrise/sunset, but as a home grower I find it very handy as I am not growing in a controlled room, so that you don't get massive swings in temps or VPD/Rh, so it is useful for me, even if its not absolutely required for the plants. I have the M69 Pro controller, and find it brilliant especially with the automations, and you can pretty much do everything from your phone on an app, and its easy to really dial in for lights on/off. It would have been worth mentioning the App as for me that is a big selling point, as you can do all changes without entering the tent.
@nk-dw2hm Жыл бұрын
I think thats a pretty typical feature though, vivosun and others all allow you to control everything via app
@barneymiller4088 Жыл бұрын
I agree that ramping up and down lights, AC, … would create fewer shocks to the plants.
@barneymiller4088 Жыл бұрын
I think this review would have been better if it were more structured. First, establish the absolutely required, pretty much required, nice to have, and really not useful features categories. Then walk through each controller highlighting how it met each feature and some quantified metric as to how easy it is to use the feature. Finally, do a recommendation based on the home grower use case and you can highlight that if a persons use case is different than what was stated they may be better off with a different product.

I love the AC Infinity controller 69 Pro and the various UIS devices and adapters. The automation trigger options are really nice. I use it with a pair of Migro ARAY 4s, an AC T4 exhaust fan, AC S6 oscillating fans, and an AC control plug for a heater. I know the fans and lights can be controlled with $5 timers, but I'm not sure if there's a standalone temp sensor available to power a heater on. Overall, I really appreciate the environmental numbers at a glance on my phone and the historical graph data to see how my grow environment looks over time.

I think if u need a heater inside a grow tent, then its time to upgrade to some more powerful lights. I use 300w inside 4x4 and 750w inside 8x8 tent and its never lacking heat even in winter.
@UbiquitousRomp Жыл бұрын
@@youtubetruthlife4750 Stupid comment. Cold climate in early veg with lower PPFD will need a heater. And I don't want my plants sitting at 55f when I turn the lights out. Adding heat in veg when lights don't provide enough will raise the VPD and transpiration rate.

Outdoors the dli is higher during the veg stage and decreases during flower period until harvest day. The spectrum and intensity changes the entire duration of the grow cycle. Some of the Hermie problems I believe are due to not following this idea. But what do I know? Lol😎 love migro!

One thing to note about the AC Infinity controller you can buy it with the fan for the same price so when you combo with it, it's almost free. I think vivo sun is this way too.

Yeah my 69 pro seems to have issues turning off and on my photontek sq300w pro randomly when attached to the controller. I feel this wasnt an issue a while ago or i just hadnt noticed this happening until just recently which made me decide to run my light with its oem dimmer attached to a smart power strip. Also i would have issues with the light ever so slighly dimming itself like 30 PPFD then going back to its preset amount almost like its pulsing. Its very hard to notice by eye but can clearly see it when using a meter. Really disappointing since i would love to use the controller again to take advantage of the sunrise/sunset option as well as being avle to dim/brigthen my lights in 10% increments instead of the factory 25% steps. Also just recently started having issues with my controller running there smart plug i purchased to run my heater. It will recognize the plug then turn off then straight back on and will not allow me to control it rendering it useless. I feel there so called updates cause more issues then they resolve unfortunately. Other then these issues its a solid controller and would 100% recommend if they get these issues fixed.

im having similar issues on my 69 pro. got my ks3000 connected to it through their UIS Type-A adapter. Once or twice during the day the light shuts off randomly and after two seconds comes back on in 10% steps until set value is reached. was also thinking about using the dimmer knob with a classic timed-power switch for now, but i already fell in love with the sunrise/sunset function
@MyJman37 Жыл бұрын
@@AtzeD109 yes that's what Mine will do as well. I am not sure how many times it does this but it's definitely doing it. Only reason I decided to put it on a separate timer is because of fear of possible hermi issues with the lights doing this. I am not sure if that's something I need to worry about? Just did not want to take the chance and also figured it wasn't too good for the light itself.

My Questions about AC Infinity Controller 69 (and Trolmaster): 1. Can you set separate light and dark settings for temp, humidity, max/min fan speed? 2. Can you set different light and dark temp settings to control a heater? So it keeps the space at say 25C during light period, and 20C during dark period. 3. Can you control a dehumidifier or only a humidifier? Question about AC Infinity Controller 69, Trolmaster Controller, and Telos Growcast Light Only controller: 4. Does the controller provide finer and/or more accurate dimming control compared to the manual dimmer supplied with the light? Or does it depend on the brand of light and dimmers? I have a HLG Scorpion Diablo X.

I figured "The Trolmaster" controlled just about everything. It's an entirely different beast than the controllers run by an App, or a simple, small screen. Pretty much the "Professional" unit, and more in the league of other products that dose out nutes, and control pH, that we've had for awhile, but with lighting and other environmental measurements and control. Quite a bit different, and does everything. The Trolmaster was great to use as a comparison, to these newer, inexpensive (mostly), but very functional controllers, suddenly widely available for smaller grows, especially.👍💯✌️
