I think for Duke. A good mechanic to add to help with the potions. is after each kill. Like the arena has a chance to change, Like a falling pillar. To add a 1-time shortcut to the mushrooms on either side. Or the salt breaking so you don't have to mine. Like a 3/5 chance on death for a random 1-time use shortcut to "happen"

@@ArcShanked he has already. he has a short on how to make zulrah easy and he explained it already in the video. He goes to the middle on either side of the island, you swap sides. And then just know roughly when Jad phase comes up. That's pretty much it. People really do make zulrah harder than it needs to be because every fuckin' guide out there and every person just cops out to "just use the zulrah plugin hehe" or "stop being poor and just have a bowfa or tbow hehe" then the noob goes out there and uses the zulrah plugin and drools all over themselves cause they can't pay attention to the boss and the plugin at the same time. Stop overthinking it lol.

Sure but all of Zulrahs damage is predictable. You know it will randomly use range attacks on the blue phase so you have to eat up and you know the little snakes will hit 10s when they recoil die off of you. You can most of the time just eat to 99 hp and angler every blue phase and you know you aren't going to die.

Had a buddy who never pvm'd recently try out Vorkath and Zulrah Vorkath he is now nearing 1k kc.....he has yet to get a single kill on Zulrah I find both extremely piss easy but imo that proves Zulrah is harder for the average player Vorkath: Camp 1 prayer with plenty of time to out eat damage from other style, quick prayer flick, slayer staff crumble, acid just turn off run, see fire? click 1 tile, also the game literally gives you a tutorial in the form of DS2 on learning Vorkath. If you can't do Vorkath after the quest you just suck at the game in general. Zulrah: 4 different rotations, mess up rotation? Cloud damage on top of snakeling and zulrah damage, prayer switches + jad phase (ik ik jad phase is easy but it's still more prayer swaps than vorky), blue phase can hit constant 30s-40s at times + snakeling damage can stack you out. Snakelings actively damage you where vorkath you just swap staff and click. tl;dr Vorkath is just pay attention, Zulrah requires you to actually learn rotations.

Zulrah is more complex, but you can kill Zulrah on much lower level gear than Vorkath. If you go in with the equivalent of entry level Zulrah gear against Vorkath, you're gonna be taking a crap ton of damage and your kills will be 3+ minutes (Especially if your BGS doesn't hit). Vorkath is harder. Coming from a guy with both pets and 3k+ kc in both bosses. Once you get to the point where you get Armadyls (even blessed dhide) and Tbow and dragon arrows and you're adpet at Zulrah, Jad honestly feels harder. But I had 2k+ kc at Zulrah before I even had a Tbow.

When you melee vorkath you literally camp the exact same prayers the entire fight. I haven't tried ranging yet but I believe it's pretty much the same way. Same protection prayers used literally the entire fight, tank the other attacks. Zulrah you're swapping protection prayer constantly, especially on jad phase, or you're eating all your food because you're shit at swapping prayers back and forth or otherwise get out of rhythm while still learning the boss. You don't need prayer swaps for zulrah, though. My kills at zulrah instantly improved when I stopped trying to bring a range switch and just used mage on him the entire time. I was still struggling occasionally with messing up my zulrah plugin because I'm still shit at the game, and eventually I got jad phase down and it became a great time for me to just deal fuck tons of damage while I dance between pray range and mage. Really helped me get more comfortable with prayer switching during fights. You can avoid most of vorkath's damage really easily, you have very clear opportunities to eat on both special attacks, zulrah has chip damage from all his spawns fucking around with less opportunities to eat if you tank a big hit. Vorkath is easier to *learn* than Zulrah, because Vorkath is completely straightforward on both gear and prayers. 100%. Once you're good at both idk I very much don't have the kc to really say. Zulrah I am going to say will be harder to learn to improve kill times. Vorkath to improve kill times you get better gear and levels. Zulrah you get better gear and levels for two combat styles and learn to swap gear on top of swapping prayers when fighting. I know I'm shit at the game, but I really think that just because Vorkath has a couple of one-hit kill attacks that are easy as fuck to avoid by walking two tiles or prepping a spell cast doesn't make him harder than Zulrah. Not harder to learn, anyway.

Neither zulrah or vorkath are hard but I think the fact you have to bring double eat food for zulrah makes it harder in my opinion. I'd say its close though because vorkaths fight is longer. With bofa at zulrah its like 1 minute or less sometimes

@@forextroll i havent done it for a few years but I remember correctly: 4 restores, 1 super extended antifire, 1 super combat , slayer staff for autocast crumble undead on little scorpion, house tabs for rest pool and lunar isle tele. Gear would be serp helm, justiciar plate and legs (dont underestimate the usefulness of defence at vork, thats why I get long trips) avernic, lance, prims, salve ie and ferocious gloves

I'm so confused how camping literally the exact same prayer the entire fight for vorkath is "no more or less" than regularly swapping protection prayer just about every phase of the zulrah fight. You literally have more shit to pay attention to in Zulrah than you do for Vorkath to avoid or minimize damage, and due to the lack of needing to regularly swap prayers it's much easier to recover health while fighting vorkath than it is to do so while fighting zulrah.

how is vorkath harder than zulrah? No gear switches (just slayer staff), no prayer switches. fireball just click anywhere even walking you can miss a tick. Always walking and acid phase is easy. Zulrah is incredibly hard, if you don't know the rotations. With zulrah helper you need to do even more. If you know the rotation you need to run to the correct position, switch gear, switch prayer, reequip recoil. If you are at the same point with your Ironman when you start vorkath, you propably just have Ibans blast.

They really have to change wintertodt. It sucks so much ass. The only thing terrible about it as content, is the random damage that comes in. Yes please I want to get hit based on my max hp, which constantly interrupts my actions and feels super unsatisfying and tilting. The damage numbers themselves are tolerable as a low level, when your natural hp regen can take care of the 1s and 2s you take. But with 90+ hp? You got to resupply with monkfish or better food for each kill, since you need most of your inventory for wood. Tempoross is a good example of how to actually do a skilling minigame boss. You don't take random annoying RNG damage or penalty. You just do the skilling activity gameplay loop, and avoid the mechanics of the boss. If you fail the mechanics, your reward points and exp per hour suffers. Perfect design. And wintertodt is just so terrible it makes me want to rip my hair out.

I disagree, Zulrah is far more easier to kill than Vorkath, no need to drain defence, no need to rely on standard spellbooks, no 1 hit mechanics, less hp, less accuracy, more predictable attacks, however people often find zulrahs rotations daunting, but the rotations are actually all the exact same, people just don't know how to teach properly, see my zulrah guides for example

That said, I assure you you are in the minority here and of all opinions you've ever said on your channel this is the one that outlies the most and is most incorrect That being said, no hate from me you are my 2nd fav OSRS creator after Odablock :) Edit: For the record my KC for both are under 100 and I don't have any concrete facts, but in my experience Vorkath is free loot piñata with little to no effort and Zulrah is a nightmare to be feared, you are lucky if you successfully get 1 kill within 10 attempts. Most noobs will have experiences like mine above

I think your take about Zulrah's 50kc protection is dumb. "Pussy shit" is a moronic, unconstructive "criticism". It's a good mechanic, because Zulrah is so punishing and requires some learning to do properly. It's perfectly fine, and other bosses could benefit from a similar system in the pursuit of accessibility. Perhaps not 50kc, maybe more like 10kc. But the system is solid and a positive thing for the game.
