I prefer Tob over the other raids, but it’s for the pacing. The raid is paced very well and doesn’t have any annoying puzzles (ToA) or prep (like in CoX) for supplies. I do a raid to fight bosses, not to play a puzzle game.

Crunching the numbers my takeaway is that COX is a C-tier raid bordering on a D, TOB is an A-Tier raid bordering on an S, and TOA is a solid B-Tier raid.

Depends how you look at it. I personally loooove solo olm, but all of the rooms aside from vanguards are super boring. I still prefer it over ToA though because you spend ~40% of the time at cox just killing olm. ToA all the rooms just feel like a slog at high invocations. ToB is just phenomenal in every way though, easily just the best raid objectively.

if monkey "puzzle" room and the little fucking shithead scarabs in the kephri puzzle were removed toa would honestly be the best designed raid. I cant say much about cox since ive never done it but it looks awful.

It's around as shit as doing Zammy boss solo is. utter dogshit raid. It is mechanically designed around abusing game mechanics by moving in such a way you essentially flinch the boss or massing. There is a reason it is the first raid they made, it is more of a test of things than anything. Hard recommend raids 2/3 instead. You know a raid is bad when a large amount of the people doing it can't be bothered to do 80% of then rooms and pay bots to find optimal configurations to make the raid viable to do without wasting a ton of time.

i disagree with baba only, yes the puzzle room is the WORST thing in the game, but the fight itself is straight forward and easy, especially if u red x. plus i look at bolders as a heal phase. blow pipe+spec = max hit heal. its also a moment of patience if u are used to raiding
