It is 😊👍 Have you ever heard KC live - especially "Red" is live so much more impressive than it already is here. I remember the interaction between Fripp and Voormann, although perfectly rehearsed it still sparked with the inspiration Fripp is always hoping for: "With professionals you always know the level of perfection you can expect, but sometimes it goes beyond that and you achieve beauty." Or similar words to that effect in a "lecture" by Fripp involving a teaching performance by the League of Crafty Guitarists. (I've witnessed the weight of depression falling off Robert Fripp when the (his) music moves beyond the perfection of discipline. Magic, moving moments of bliss...)

Thank you very much for making this officially available here, Robert Fripp and King Crimson's channel admin (you don't know how this is so much special, to me). "One More Red Nightmare" has such a powerful beat that brings me so much nostalgia, like the bridges from 2:06 to 3:58 and from 5:02 to the end of the song. Bruford was bright and joyful, in the drums/percussion; Wetton was remarkable, in the vocals and the bass; and Fripp was just brilliant, in pretty much every instrument, not to mention Mel Collins' and Ian McDonald's great sax works, in this album. @@chasetemple3992 If you have the 5..1 DVD and a player that uses 5 main RCA patch cords feeding your surround system , It easy to find which channel or two has the main lead guitar. Then you use a couple of two way splitters on that output of the DVD player to feed one of your extra stereo inputs on the surround sound receiver and set that to 5.1 stereo mode . Then you can listen to any of the channels separately through all 5 spks. I'm using about 6 splitters and extra patch cords so I can switch from 5.1 to just the front or just the rears or just the center plays through the whole system.

One of the reasons why the drumming sounds so original is because BB uses ample and creative silences and spacing. That's an art in itself. To control the tendency to play several notes. Only a few drummers in a rock context can do this. It is more common in jazz where drummers most come down to let other musicians improvise.

What a shame this album never got a tour. Never got to play the first 3 tracks live with Wetton, and never got the final version of Starless live with this lineup either.

Larks Tongues in Aspik, starless and bible black, Red are my all time favourites since i had my first acids with them in the 70‘s .... but they never really fail DISCIPLINE and the following recordings so many years later were far more inspirational and ahead of the time as few others ... i was evan impressed of their 50 Year Anniversary concert in Mexico City .... and of coarse I‘m a fan of Toya and Robert‘s Sunday madness 😉

5:32 from this point on, the tune has a remarkable resemblance with Pink Floyd's "Shine On Your Crazy Diamond" part 5. Not note by note of course, but if you're familiar with PF piece, you might notice. Even the guitar in the background sounds familiar.
