The quality of the job matters. People need good paying jobs to survive in this economy. What can one do with a minimum wage paying job?

Minimum wage can work when the economy is doing well, cost of living will do down but economy will always struggle when you have few people working and contributing to economy.The more people you have employed the better. For example the streets are not clean, rather than just giving people grants while just sitting you can easily pay them to clean up the streets, its a starting point.

I acknowledge that you will always have someone having to clean toilets, sweeping the streets, etc. Such jobs, although critical, also have a way of stripping people of their dignity. Until there's some sort of continuation policy in government then we'll always see these short term solutions. There's projects that gets dropped halfway the moment someone is removed from the position, they just don't care how much money is wasted as long as they do what they want.
