I suspect that Panyaza may become the next president of the African National Congress. This belief stems from the noticeable push to increase his visibility on the ground through traditional, mainstream, and non-traditional media. This effort is significant, especially considering the ANC's ongoing renewal mission, where all these elements seem to converge.

I completely agree that South Africans share the responsibility of maintaining their cities and communities. For too long, we've relied solely on the government to address these issues. However, we must acknowledge our own role in contributing to the problems. We often complain about the dirtiness of cities like Johannesburg, but we're also part of the problem. We litter, and sometimes even bribe officials or give 'cold drink money' to avoid accountability. It's time for personal responsibility and accountability. We can't solely blame the government for corruption when we're complicit in it. Instead of just complaining, communities should come together to clean and maintain their cities. We need to take ownership of our actions and work collectively to create positive change. Until we change our own behavior, we have no right to complain about the state of our cities.

MacG and the podcast have a unique way of humanising public figures, making them relatable on a deeply personal level. Through these conversations, you start to see them as more than just celebrities, breaking down the pedestal we often place them on.
