I almost always stick with the griffin honestly. Its knockback is more effective fyi the closer you are to the greed (so be mindful of where the dog is when you use it). The giant slugs are (mostly) unaffected by the pushback but they can get a very small stun. And in all honesty, you really can't beat its reliability with being able to 'graze' anywhere at any time of year and the stable hermit and their farm 'upgrades' are kind of a waste of gems and coins in my opinion unless you really just like the aesthetic of the mounts. Only other mount I would consider is the chimera but really only if I'm advancing/angering the greed more quickly than what I'm able to handle with my current troops and wall upgrades(if that happens I'll sometimes commit yeet intentionally). I also avoid losing the dog at all costs because it just tears my heart hearing him cry as the greed take him away.

Oh, also forgot to mention, the crabs/crushers get a funny knockback/stun animation when you hit them with the griffin wingbeat

very useful vid. couldn't figure out what to do about the Pegasus Statue. My personal fave Combo is Cerberus and Athena Bow. That actually lets you solo easier portals and gives you a lot of very safe punching power

How do you get the bow?

@@eliannae4247 you have to do the athena island, top left. first you have to find and repair the golden cage, then you have to buy the Stag Mount for 1 Gem. With the Stag Mount, search the island for a Golden Stag. If you get close to it it will start following you. lead it back to the Golden Cage to capture it, finishing Athenas Quest.

Carefull when using ability combos like athena's shield and pegasus since they can leave you vulnerable, so be sure you have coins.

Hey One dragon I was wondering how you can obtain the cursed crown cosmetic. Do you just have to complete and obtain the cursed crown on all challenge islands? And if that's the case, would I get the cosmetic if I beat it all in singleplayer mode or do I have to get the cursed crown on co-op challenges too?

Yes, to get the Cursed Crown cosmetic you need to get it on all of the challenge islands. You do not need to beat them on coop.
