For me Czech Republic is the most beautiful country in the world - architecture wise. So many cities feel unspoiled but also "home" for me. Coming from Bautzen in Upper Lusatia, Germany, Kutna Hora or Kuttenberg feels like my home city only more impressive - Bautzen is still a very beautiful city for German standards. The architecture style is somehow the same, Upper Lusatia belonged to Bohemia for most of its history. There are so many beautiful Czech cities, it reminds me all the time how much great architecture Germany lost in the war. I am more the small city type and Czech Republic has so many unspoiled cities. But even Prague - this is the most beautiful big city I know. The old town, the Kleinseite, the second castle, the cubistic buildings - nearly everything feels perfect. The only downsides are that Prague got more and more touristy over time - in my perspective the tourists also changed - while it were mostly Austrian and German tourists who came because of the culture 20 years ago, today you have more and more young people partying from all over Europe. Also the people in Prague got more and more unfriendly over the years, maybe because of that reason. But maybe that's only my impression. 20 years ago especially the older people were very friendly and even many of them spoke German (what made me feel always a little bit ashamed, because of our history), today everything goes in English, German is completely unknown and money making seems the main goal. But nevertheless Czech Republic has still the most beautiful cities for my taste.

​@@ShouldYouPlayIt I will share your videos, but unfortunately most of my friends - many Czech Republic enthusiasts amoung them - are not interested in computer games. I am myself an old gamer with 45. - Regarding the use of Czech Republic or German names - it depends. Some/few very left wing people only use the Czech names and try to teach other to do the same, otherwise it would be right wing and so on, but this I consider nonsense. I would say a rule is, the bigger the city, the more likely the use of the German name and the smaller or lesser know the more likely the use of the Czech name. So Prague is nearly always named by its German name Prag, other often used German names are Pilsen (maybe because of the Bier), Brünn and Reichenbach (but the use of Liberec is getting more and more popular and next Generation will most likely only use this name). Some older people born there of course use the German names for their childhood places - but this generation is leaving earth very fast. My mother's mother and my fathers father both came from Silesia in Poland and always spoke in German and with love about their little villages. But today you can't even find this German names in Wikipedia anymore. The downside is, that fewer and fewer people know anything about their neighbor countries, but more and more about the US or UK. About Kuttenberg, I think it is not that good known in Germany, despite it should be of course - so I think the Czech name is more often used - for tourism I think they will always use both names together. In my first comment I wanted to use the Czech name, but while writing on my smart phone I suddenly realized that I didn't know anymore how Kutna Hora was to write correctly, was it Hora or Horra, were there on or two ' over the letters. So I also wrote Kuttenberg, because this version my brain could save in a second.

Wikipedia says St Barbara's church began construction in 1388, so maybe some of it was there in 1403? The constructions were apparently interrupted many times, once for over 60 years because of the Hussite wars which began after KCD's time. It was actually not finished until 1905, so finishing the church took over 600 years. 😮 I wonder how much of it would have been built in 1403, after 15 years of construction?

So in the trailer you can see, among other things, a clearly aged Henry. But since the story is supposed to start only two days after the end of KCD, I expect a time jump between Trosky and Kuttenberg. So it would be quite plausible if Henry was in Kuttenberg at the time of the Hussite Wars. Oh, and by the way: according to the 'Honest Guides', Trdelnik is not a traditional Czech pastry, but a kind of imported tourist trap. Perhaps even from the Cumans.

Hey guys if you really have degree in history U must know that statues were placed on Charles bridge in Prague (in those times called Kamenný most - the Stone bridge) on the edge of 17th and beggining of 18th century - the statues are baroque after all (and the statues Henry is riding arround in Kuttenberg are baroque as well) - while Henry's story takes place in gothic times... 😉 Still - nice piece of work - I enjoyed it! Thanks, but we were talking about the part of the trailer reveal that was live, and the actor who plays Henry was riding a horse past some statues. That was set in 2024. ;-) I thought it might be a "tease" about Prague, but turns out it was just a pretty location in Kutna Hora (including St. Barbora's church, which wasn't finished in 1403 but they still filmed most of the trailer reveal there!).

You should definitely visit, Czech Republic has the most castles per sq km in the world! You can also visit Skalitz and Sasau, which are not very touristy but you will definitely feel like you stepped into KCD! :-D

There IS a castle in Kutná Hora nowadays. Vlašský dvůr is a castle.

I think you can argue for both sides... The description of the Italian Court is "Its core is the former royal palace with a mint , founded before 1300 by King Wenceslas II." It is fortified and very defensible, so it's possible that it will look like a castle in the game, but it's not a traditional castle, more of a palace.

@@ShouldYouPlayIt well, prague castle does not look like a castle either, it looks like a big church surrounded by a lot of palaces, but we call it a castle. I am looking forward to see how Kutná hora will look like, I believe there will be more than one castle-like structures. In the trailer, there is a view of Sedlec ostuary with the monastery's fortifications peaking on the left and seem like the monastery will be heavily fortified.
