Kinda creepy how nothing here in Czechia changes. Road that had a puddle in Middle Ages still has it now and construction of some buildings is in exactly same stage. 😅
@CZpersiАй бұрын
Road trajectory and urban planning is heavily affected by the surrounding terrain. Once the people found the "sweet spot" of where it is best to place the roads and buildings, they usually had no reasons to change it. The buildings themselves have changed significantly. If you look closely, you will see the gothic architecture replaced by the later rennaisance, baroque or classicist styles. Some preserved buildings like churches and castles have their gothic portals and towers replaced by baroque style etc.

Were so many archways changed in style from gothic to round over time, or was the gothic style just a decision of the developers? 🤔
@x340x7 ай бұрын
gothic was definitely there at the time when the game is set in. it was probably changed to round during renovations which look like they occured like 200-300 hundred years ago and by that time it was either too expensive and hard to keep the gothic or people just thought they were out of date and did the current style (at that time)
