The Story Behind This chest - 2:50 As explained in this video it was a mistake that this chest was left in the game as it should only be obtained after the ending to the game (it has most of the best weapons in the game within) but the developers have now removed it from the game as of patch 1.3. You can still obtain the chest and contents however by reverting to a previous patch (Instructions in description)

I realized something when I looted this chest. So some back story here: I was strolling through the world and I found one of those knights that offers to deal you, but my character being a chaotic neutral knight, killed him, took his armor, and went on my way. When I decided to look for a really good armor set (thinking what I had was shit) I decided to check out my boy ESO. When I found this video I was super excited to find all of the gear, it was even unlocked and everything!!! But when I opened it, half the armor in there was worse than what I stole off that knight, except for a few things like the helmet and the arm guards sooo.... Lul. But anyway great video man and if anyone actually read through this your a legend!

Don't have a shield equipped if you go to practice with wooden short sword and shield. The game will steal your shield !!

Nefarious One I sparred with Bernard for 15 minutes with wooden swords and when I went to check my inventory after, I realized that my expensive armour was absolutely destroyed, necessitating hundreds or thousands of groschen in repairs. So much for 'realistic'. Apparently wooden swords can destroy plate armour, shred mail and tear up my gambeson.

sixmam haha yeah mate, that's why i strip beforehand. It has no effect on the training and is pointless money burning..also there are many holes of unrealistic things in the game so it doesn't really bother me but is more effort than most in the genre

I left my armour on. It is a great way to level up maintenance. It shouldn't get badly damaged unless you do several bouts of sparring in a row, without doing repairs in between.

SirSelby I sparred 15 minutes with Bernie, I had a relatively intense battle. It was an even fight and when I left the arena, my noble's mail coif and hauberk, plus my decorated arming doublet was at 0 % condition, my plate varied from 40 to 60% condition. Remember that video warhorse did about swords not being able to slash through plate? How bout wooden practice swords and Kunesh's hammy, peasant fists being able to decimate your end game armour? How's that for realistic?

See normally I would watch this video and follow these tips and instructions but with Kingdom Come I haven't been playing it like a modern RPG. There is something super appealing about being terrible at everything and then having to earn my power. If I knew where all the best gear and weapons were it ruins that experience and just makes this game another shopping list style game "Lets look up all the best stuff so I can get the best gear and rek everything" now don't get me wrong I don't have a problem with anyone playing it that way, it's a video game people are free to do whatever they want. All I am saying is that this game has not only made me less pessimistic about modern games, but, it also gives me that RPG itch that I haven't gotten scratched in decades. This is a true fucking RPG. None of that Witcher wank or even Skyrim. This game puts them to shame. Stealing a quote from Razorfist "So this is where all those Elder Scrolls features went" he is right. This is what RPG's used to be like. I feel like I can breath again and it makes me happy to see such a damn good RPG come out. Not only that but it has zero fantasy in it? It's super historical? That appeals to me more than the genre it's attached to.

If you get to the point where you can master strike, it's fairly easy. Just block when the little green shield appears, as fast as you can. Try not to get surrounded.

Matthew Ruble it's the most broken game you will ever play, but it's one of the best too. 👍👍👍. My playthrough saw me getting lockpicking, reading, alchemy to level ten and strength and agility to 5 before even starting any main mission. Good luck and enjoy matey 👍👍

if you went to the sir radziq camp near merhojet , you can find 3 soldier with a different rare head armor and , 3 of them also equipped full magdeburg armor , you can actually steal they head armor and body armor while they sleeping at night , knock them out while they sleeping*DONT KILL* , also the stolen mark will not go away unless you sell it on fences and rebuy it

Yep, my first playthrough character has 2 St. George Swords and other items besides. This same loot (or very similar) is also available in another chest in one of ESO vids before this one. I happened to find this chest in this vid in the camp before I found the other one in ESO's vid and lo & behold: 2 St. George swords. It's not that big if a deal really; you can sell one or put it away in case you loose one. All this loot does break immersion though if you use it. I totally missed the whole "drunk with priest" storyline when you're trying to find Ginger because I had too high charisma from wearing high level armor, flower power & alpha male (wink) boosts at the time. The priest just tells you what he knows and you miss one of the best storylines in the game. I started the whole game over from scratch and am purposefully bypassing most of the high level treasure so I get the full experience this time. IMO, the devs could have done a better job of making sure whole storylines are not missed simply because you have a high charisma/speech value. That seems an awful waste of time & effort to develop the storyline only to have your players miss it.

I'm wearing Zoul's armor. It seems one of the best so far for me. Also I have Herod's sword and bought a Bouche or whatever shield from the rattay armorer. Then I also have Baliffs Mace. I don't think any of these gears are even good when comparing with what I have and my stats for combat just makes me very strong now

Okay, so anyone on console who wants this chest, I’m sorry, you can’t until you complete the game, the chest belongs to Hans Capon and is related to the Epilogue quest, i just completed the game and got to the epilogue, Hans Capon is at that location and it appears completely unlocked with a bunch of guards around so wait until about midnight and rob it

if you get to the end of the game aka epilogue and if you talk to sir hanes capon and choose to meet them up later they will arrive at this campsite and all the armor will be there. however there will be guards there so you might wanna have some stealth skills unlocked before you do that

When i first found the chest i was so happy coz it turned my henry into a beast. they shouldnt remove it, it helps first timers a lot. I was using baliff mace and ceremonial mace until i found st george's sword. Then i got interested in learning swordplay combos. At least give gamers the choice of looting that chest. It was really difficult in the beginning with a shortsword before getting familiar with the fight mechanics.

I would say the best gear is a black shirt, boots and pants that can get you around 20 con and vis combined with a dagger. That will enable you to go and backstab everyone quite easily. Have taken out full marauder camps by go full out assassin creed

Hi mate, quick question? I am trying to find the "Wounded Loudmouth" in the If You Can't Beat Them quest. He is supposed to be in the Monastery hospital, but I have tried for a few days now and no luck, this is a blocker for this quest. I wondered if you had any trouble with this and if it is a bug?

What I don´t really like about this game is that so much loot is actually obtained from chests. I mean, realistically speaking, who would put a full suit of plate armour, several high quality weapons, a lot of money and maybe also some potions into a chest and then leave this chest somewhere in the woods? I´d prefer it if those weapons were either found on the corpses of enemies or in the hands of certain NPCs that will reward you with them after finishing a quest. Or they could even include a smithing system(Henry is the son of a blacksmith after all) and let you find or purchase instructions on how to forge certain unique weapons.

You can actually get more by haggling if your character is good in speech. You set the bar to the 3/4 mark or about of the merchant and you don't move the bar after his counteroffers. At some point he will just act weak and accept your terms.

In my game I have the Nuremberg cuirass and it’s got 25 defense. You can get it from a chest or, you can steal it from the knight in red who’s a part of the main story. He sleeps in the inn outside of sassau

Not there any more! Best way I get good armour is to steal a horse, have a sword, ride to skalitz take out the bandits there by riding up and down hitting them on horse back as your early level and will struggle to beat them. One of them has the best cuirass in the game and loads of top quality armour/valuable loot

Are there any gloves that don't disable the light armour perk in the agility tree? I have leather gloves I use for my stealth set but when I have them on I miss out on the light armour perk. I guess playing stealth means you shouldn't need to be dodging attacks anyway since you most likely won't be in a head on battle but if you are I would like to use the light armour to it's advantage.

Dodging is a really underused skill and making it 50% easier is very helpful

This game greatly under mines how they fought with maces and axes,they do however for the most part have a realistic sword combat system,knights didn't always grab the end of the handle on axes and maces,sometimes they would grip right under the mace or axe head to hit faster,it's very deadly in close quarter combat,look up Skallagrims videos.

I am playing patch 1.25 on PC and the chest was there. I got the game on the day it came out, though. Maybe this only applies if you *began* the game with the later patch, rather than updating to the latest patch after beginning with an early version.
