As a Pole I loved 1st game because the environment looked just like Polish villages and forests - Czechia looks so similar to my country, but now with this trailer I think I will love 2nd game even more :D And yes, Poles, Czechs and Slovaks can understand each other a little bit, our languages are all in the western Slavic group and I even played my 2nd playthrough of KCD in Czech, understood about half of what was said, so it's quite similar, but of course there are some false friends, like my favourite "porouchaný" which means broken in Czech, but in Polish "poruchany" (which sounds the same) means "fucked"

I can’t imagine how great it feels to see a game this incredible showcase your regions and languages. Ive been learning so much of your shared history and languages from other commenters. I’m going to try switching to Czech with subtitles on my next playthrough, just to get the immersion of the language. We have something similar in some south East Asian languages - some words sound very similar and have similar meanings, some mean something very different.

The trader spoke german and as I'm german too I can tell you that he said: "Thank you very much. You sure will be pleased. See you soon." Happy to help. 😊 You should also watch the "official game reveal" it's more talk about the game but it's fun too and gives a few interesting back stories inside informations and you'll see the actors of Henry and Hans.

@@heyamarii when they speak czech or polish I also understand nothing just like Henry... unless czech he should understand. It's just for us players that Henry and the most people speak english. But I think there will be again a german localized version. Also that will make the trader who actually speak german look very casual. 😂 The other video is such a joy to watch because you also see how much the devs and actors love their work. Oh and when you watch take a special look on Daniel Vavra. He is lead CEO of Warhorse and was the role model for sir Hanush. 😅

there are subtitles so you can rewatch the parts where he was speaking polish if you want :) funny thing, Poland is my countrie's neighbor as well as Czech, so I understand all of the Czech and some of the Polish :D yes, kurva is a swear word, meaning is similar to whore and can be used in the same way, but it also can be used similar to fu*k, or like "sh*it. he used more swear words, the Pole. us, Poles and Czechs have some of the same swear words 😂 there are maybe also in other slavic language countries, not sure though (like Slovinia, Croatia, Bulgaria, Serbia and so on and so on)

It was shot in cathedral in Kutna Hora (Kuttenberg) featuring Dan Vávra (game creator) and other devs and also Tom McKay and Luke Dale (Henry and Hans voice actors / face models).

lol finally. :D Something about the reputation system I think you're missing; it doesn't tell you *who* you're gaining or losing reputation with. It's not an overall "do the people like me?" kind of thing but much more granular and local. If you say "no" to a thief mission and lose reputation, that's not with the guards or the traders and also nobody in the neighbouring village. ;) I'm so hyped for this game, I really hope they deliver. But it's looking really good so far. Edit: Sometimes you'll even see both reputation in- and decreases at the same time, likely with two separate groups.

FINALLY! I wanted to get at least deep enough in the first game to understand what I was watching 😁 Ooooh so he probably lost reputation with the bandits? Lol I am so excited with you! The scenery and cityscapes are impressive. The lighting was absolutely gorgeous, it’s hard to believe its gameplay footage, but it is! Amazing

@@heyamarii That makes a lot of sense, probably a good call. The jump from CE3 to CE5 is clearly visible for sure and the assets look utterly stunning on top yeah! Those facial motion capture animations, the world interactivity.. ooh boy I'm excited. I don't know for sure but since the dude seemed to be a bandit I'd assume it's with them since Henry basically robbed him at sword point after the dude yielded and nobody else saw anything. :)

Seriously! My eyes were jumping around the screen absorbing all the tiny details. There is dirt and muck, plants, pots, candles, rags, etc. everything that belongs to make a world seem like there is life! Not just some random environment, it looks like people actually LIVE there. The mouth and eye movements are getting scary realistic now, I was so floored.

I love how the polish guy understands Henry's czech and is like "why are you speaking to me like I am an idiot?" :)) In real life czechs and poles can somewhat (very badly) understand each other, there are lot of shared words which are false friends so have completely different meanings (e.g. Szukat means to search for in polish, but "to fuck" in czech)

Exactly, tho I think that at the time these languages were much simmilar than they are today. I was last week in Kutna Hora and I was in the mines with Czech tour guide (only me and my friend were foreigners). The guide didn't speak so fast so, as Poles, we could understand her without any issues. Playing KCD1 with Czech dub helped I guess haha

Can not wait for this game Kingdom Come 1 and RDR2 set a bar for me when comes to Living breathing open worlds that are interactive and reactive they really put many open worlds to shame. Can not wait for Kingdom come 2 and GTA6 finally having open world games I can be hyped for.

RDR2 not only had an incredible world, but the story too! And I would say KCD had quickly become one of my favourites, it is comparable to RDR2 in its fullness of the world

Nice and funny video as usual. A small note - Henry looks older supposedly due to the much higher graphics. In KCD, the faces were smoothed out, now many wrinkles and details are visible. Thanks, I'm looking forward to your new videos.

Im sure someones said it already, but Henry is older, this game takes place roughly 6 months after the first game, but the graphics for Henry improved giving him and other people like Sir Hans a more detailed face.

Henry got a glow up! His face does look more scruffy, filled out, and mature. He looks good! I love the slight changes to his face here because it does distinguish that he’s now a man in KCD2, not the boyish inexperienced peasant he was in the first game

Painfully slow to reload and almost as dangerous to the user as to the target, but powerful nonetheless. 29:33 That's a great question :) Polish and Czech are both west slavic languages with many same or similar words (and some words that sound the same, but have different meanings which leads to funny and embarrassing moments). If a Pole and a Czech talk very slowly and simply, they will probably understand at least the general message. But KCD takes place some 600 years ago, so who knows. And this guy had one potty mouth :D You can turn the subtitles on, even though they are tiny bit more PG than what he's actually saying.

That’s pretty cool! I hadn’t realised hand canons were developed that long ago, and yes it does look quite dangerous to the user! I wonder how many of us will blow up our own Henry while our skill is low 😂 I’m going to rewatch that scene with the subtitles on lol it’s somewhat similar to some south East Asian languages, we have words that are similar in sound but totally opposite in meaning.

10:30 I know it looks funny, but honestly - their footwork and stance is absolutly perfect. The guy in 10:32 even attacked from upper right while keeping his left leg behind him and the one in 10:42 even changed his stance in the middle of the attack to match this rule as well. I didn't slow down and analyze the whole fight, but even from what I saw, this looked pretty good fencing-wise. Amazing level of detail.

They look so cute fighting like that! It does look similar to how fencers stand and move. I learned a different fighting style, so the stances we use are almost totally opposite. I’m going to rewatch the combat and take a better look at how they move when changing their angle of attack

This looks like something my computer won't be able to handle. The merchant spoke German (in a slightly suspicious accent). He said 'Thank you very much. You'll certainly be satisfied.' My Polish is non existant but 'kurwa' is indeed a swear word. Some Polish people use it a lot. Like a comma more or less.

No not at all, in Kuttenberg all the higher ups where German and a great deal of the merchants too. At that time Kuttenberg was the head of the Holy Roman Empire so that is no surprise.

And kurwa is quite a universal swearword in all slavic languages. It exists even in hungarian(uralic) and always means "shit/'person-that-sells-their-body'".

The game looks pretty amazing, but there is minimum dynamic shadows and no foliage and cloud movement. It should run fine on your computer by the time they fully optimize it. That's a vast improvement on the inventory system too. This looks really good so far. Kingdom Come really seems to bring out the durgemarii in you 🤣

I’m hoping it runs well! It’s beautiful, every moment was screenshot worthy. The new inventory system shows the devs really paid attention, and improved a lot on what they had built. No mercy for the thief!! 😂
